This is an optimized guide for rat shaking pros. Their are 4 missable achievements including the secret ending. (YOUCH!!!, Stage Fright, Exterminator, and Savoring Your Meal) shake the rat 100 times as well, but you will get that pretty quickly. The achievements will be listed in the order that you can earn them most can be gotten in one play through except the secret ending that involves a second play to achieve.

Exterminator

Kill the RAT.

This is missable. At the start of the game in the field when it says squeeze don't stop until it dies. (when says stop DONT)

Shake it Real Good

Shake the rat 100 times.

Will get this while just playing pretty fast.

Stage Fright

Don't go into the HOUSE for a minute after opening the DOOR.

This is missable. Open the door after walking up to the house don't enter even though it says so. (you can complete YOUCH!!! while waiting for this to pop, wait until the achievement pops before going in the barn)

YOUCH!!!!

Get crushed by the ANVIL.

This is missable. Walk out to the barn right of the house. enter the barn, stand in front of the sign, look up. (you can do this while waiting for "Stage Fright")

A Cabin In The Fields

Enter the house.

Unmissable follow story. Enter house, Happens after the field.

Video Killed the Rat-io Star

Watch the ADVERTISEMENT.

First time entering house, walk in the door, then to the right in the living room interact with TV watch AD all the way through.

Unmissable follow story. Update Achievement.

Cracking Up

Crack the RAT to turn it into a glowstick.

Entering the dark puzzle you will crack the rat giving you the achievement.

Unmissable follow story.

Rodent Engineering

Shake the RAT to start the generator.

In the basement section of the game, there will be generators connected to doors. Squeeze the rat on the generator then, shake the rat when prompted.

Unmissable follow story. Update achievement.

Ratibiotics

Shake the rat to purge the infection.

Flesh doors in the basement must be passed by shaking Squeezing then, shaking the rat.

Unmissable follow story. Update Achievement.

Savouring Your Meal

Linger in the meat maze for 5 minutes.

This is missable. Stand by the generator at the end of the flesh hall after passing the blood painting of the woman for 5 minutes and wait for the achievement to pop.

Wife Shaker

Beat the game.

Caught Rat Handed

Find the secret ending.

This is missable. Right after you shake your wife turn and run to the flesh door then, shake when it prompts when it opens run for the white light. achievement should pop enjoy secret ending.

Update Achievement.

I did not get "Wife Shaker" when I got the "Caught Rat Handed" achievement as well fyi.

is it possible to get Caught Rat Handed and Wife Shaker achievements in one go? in my first play through went for secret ending and haven't got wife shaker achiev.
