Simple solution, doesn't take that long
To everyone trying to use the resolution mod (trying to play in 1440p or other resolution not supported), the Autolink mod, AND Reshade at the same time, AND are having major performance decreases when all three are enabled, the problem IS INDEED an issue of the d3d9.dll files. So here's how you fix it:

The load order of those three d3d9.dll files should be as follows: 1) Reshade 2) Autolink 3) Resolution mod. Unlike what some people say to rename Reshade's file as d3d9ex.dll, this did not work for me. Instead, keep Reshade's d3d9.dll the same, call Autolink's file d3d9_autolink.dll, and call the resolution mod's file d3d9_res.dll

Then, in the Reshade.ini text file, under [General] (create the [General] section if you don't have one), write:

ProxyLibrary=d3d9_autolink.dll

Then, in the DInput8.ini file (which is Autolink's .ini), right at the very top make a new line that says:

ProxyLib = d3d9_res.dll

Most of Autolink's .ini is in Chinese but as far as I can tell there's no sections, most of it is just negated by the semi colons, so just write that second aforementioned line in a new line at the very top and it will work.

And the mod_resolution.ini file, you do not have to change at all besides whatever resolution you want to use. That's it. Performance is far better, playing in 1440p, with Reshade and Autolink both working.

I am not an expert but I will respond if you post any questions. I am just making it clear that I really don't know what I'm talking about here, what a .dll file/library actually is or does. This solution, that I learned thanks to some very specific questions that I asked ChatGPT, worked for me. Before making these changes, all 3 mods worked fine but there was a very annoying lag/delay when switching outfits and between menus (such as transitioning from character select to stage select). After these changes, the performance is literally perfect and all 3 mods are working. Thanks for reading!

I installed Gravure Studio, which uses Reshade and Autolink, and then tried to implement this procedure to introduce a resolution mod, but it didn't work.
Do you have any ideas?

Thanks for the guide. The problem you mentioned has plagued me for years, so I recently decided to start with a clean install. Over the years, I have collected hundreds, possibly thousands of mods - whenever I start to install them, it always ends in tears. Your guide gave me some great things to try.
