To get started, download Steamcmd.

Extract steamcmd.exe from the zip file and put it into c:\steamcmd directory. The next step is to execute the following command:

c:\steamcmd\steamcmd.exe +login anonymous +force_install_dir c:\wicklandserver +app_update 332510 +quit

The above command will install the server app into c:\wicklandserver directory. Should you wish to change the installation directory, simply change the destination name. For future updates to the app, simply execute the above command, the server app will be updated to the latest version.

Alternatively, creating a .bat file to execute the above command will make things easier, simply create a new .bat file and paste the following:

start c:\steamcmd\steamcmd.exe +login anonymous +force_install_dir c:\wicklandserver +app_update 332510 +quit

The next time when a new update rolls out, executing the .bat file will update the app to the latest version.

Server Commands

Once the app has been installed via Steamcmd, create a new .bat file and paste the following command.

Simply replace MyIP (your public IP), MyServerID & MyTownID, and MyPass to the ID and password we have provided. To get a server ID and password, please email info@madramsoftware.com with the following information.

1. Location of server (country and city)
2. CPU spec
3. Available RAM
4. Dedicated, VPS, or personal PC
5. Name of server (the name you wish to be displayed in server browser)

Ports

The following ports are required.

UDP & TCP Ports
3742
7777-7785
7788

Please make sure the above ports are properly forwarded and that your firewall isn't blocking the above ports.

It seems getting duel achievements in 2023 is still possible, because one of my Steam friends was able to do it in June 2023. His friend somehow managed to set up a dedicated server...

If there is someone who is willing to set up a dedicated server and get those achievements, please contact me, or make a post in the forums.

Is there any chance we will see a linux release of the dedicated server? It would be a lot easier to deploy that than it would be to spin up a fresh windows VM just for this game.
