Welcome to my Doom 64 Let’s Play, where I dive into Level 4 of this Nintendo 64 classic! In this video, I tackle the third level, completing it in just a few minutes while navigating through more switch puzzles than I remembered. Though I didn’t expect so many puzzles, it’s still an absolute joy to jump back into this timeless game after years of not playing. As a retro gaming fan, revisiting Doom 64 has been a great experience, and I’m excited to share it with you!

Personal Gameplay: Playing Doom 64 again after so long brings back a lot of memories. The mix of fast-paced action and puzzle-solving has been a nostalgic trip. The switch-based puzzles in this level reminded me of how much thought went into the level design, and while it was unexpected, it added a layer of challenge to the straightforward demon-slaying I remember. This game continues to shine with its upgraded engine based on Doom II, bringing smoother gameplay and enhanced graphics for its time. For anyone who loves retro shooters, this is a must-play.

Game Background: Doom 64 was released in 1997 for the Nintendo 64, featuring 32 intense levels filled with monsters, puzzles, and the same adrenaline-pumping action that made the original Doom a groundbreaking game. Unlike the original MS-DOS version, Doom 64 uses an improved engine and introduces new textures, effects, and levels exclusive to the N64 version, making it a unique entry in the series.
