Just play through the game! there's no controls other than the arrow keys so just walk around and you'll figure it out.

Also quite self explanatory, complete the game in under 22 minutes. Timing myself I was able to get the achievement with around 24 minutes on the clock so i'm unsure when timing starts and ends, but just walk directly to the objectives and this should be a tidy completion, no tricks or special routes needed.

Look into the binoculars that are located in the upper mast. They're 5 screens up from the bottom of the mast/the deck, one level above the music box and red feather. If you see a weird square you're on the right level.
One neat detail you might not immediately realise is you can move/cycle the binoculars around with the up and down arrow keys.

Also up on the upper mast, located 4 screens up from the bottom of the mast/the deck of the ship. This one has an odd property where sometimes other achievements won't unlock as you complete them, but going and touching the red feather seems to activate them.

If I had to guess, the achievements are being stored as variables while the game is running, but only calls the steam API to activate the achievement popup on certain achievements, one of them being the red feather, if you didn't get a popup for Binoculars, Music Box, or Story Complete, try interacting with the feather.

While there's multiple objects within the game that could be described as a music box, this achievement pertains specifically to being banned from using the one on the upper mast. Find the Music producing device by climbing up 4 screens from the bottom of the mast/the deck and walking to the left. Then, walk over the metal activation switch until the pirate operating the machines stops you.

quite hidden, to find the secret parrot you'll want to stand next to the bow or front of the ship for around 15-20 seconds, AFTER collecting the 3 flags. Doing so before will instead show 2 dolphins when you look over the edge. This achievement can't be collected once you go inside the ship and the windows are closed ie after you can't return to the deck.


(My scribbles on the image say to collect the rope and hair tie, you'll need to do this anyway to collect the 3 flags, I believe the condition is based on the state of the ship, ie whenever the metallic water bowls are put out)

The reason this guide was created, The Secret Seahorse.

It's located in the 2nd Octopus dream sequence, you'll need to find a hidden passageway hugging the left wall, next to a large sea anemone. This leads into a passage which lets you collect a swagful little pipe for the octopus. You can keep moving down and left to reach the seahorse. Moving up will instead take you to an alternate route to finish the level.

These don't count for specific achievements, but they are neat little details you might want to look out for while doing the rest of these achievements. Please comment if you found any more neat stuff to include here!

-Ghostman
The pirate you encounter right at the start of the game appears to be a ghost, given if you follow them after your initial meeting, after picking their nose a few times they'll vanish into thin air.

-Lookouts
There's a few locations in the game where stopping and idling for a few seconds will show a first person perspective or a unique animation.
+The Very Rear of the ship
+Weird box in the upper mast
+Bow/front of the ship

-Special Idle Animation
Right at the end of the game, the very bottom layer of the ship, your character gains a unique idle animation for standing in water. She'll see a fish in the water, and try to stab it with the knife.
