Introduction
As we all know, the Zombie Genocide achievement requires you to kill 53,595 infected.
This is an annoying and time-consuming task, but here’s a method to make it easier.
I’ll provide you with a command and a map that will help you get this achievement effortlessly.
Steps
1. Download the Map
  • Download the map here [drive.google.com]
  • This map spawns an infinite number of infected.
  • Note: I did not create this map. The source is here[www.gamemaps.com]

2. Install the Map
  • Navigate to your game’s directory:
    Left 4 Dead\left4dead\addons
For example, my directory looks like this:
    D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\left 4 dead\left4dead\addons
  • Place the downloaded map file inside addons folder.

3. Launch the Game (Left 4 Dead)
Follow these steps:
  • Play Single Player.
  • Select Campaign: Add-on Campaign.
  • Choose Kill-A-Ton.
  • Start the game.

4. Run in a Window
  • Make sure the game is running in a window.
  • You can enable this in the game’s settings (as shown in the picture).

5. Set Up the Command
  • Aim at the first entrance (as shown in the picture)
  • Enable the developer console by going to (as shown in the picture)
  • Press the [`] or [~] key to open the console.(as shown in the picture)

  • Copy and paste the following command and press [Enter]
alias autofire "+attack; wait 1; autofire"; autofire
  • This will enable automatic firing.

6. Minimize the Game
  • Make sure that the game is not paused.
  • Once the command is running, you can minimize the game by press [Alt + Tab] and let it run in the background.
  • You can use your PC for other tasks while the game works on getting the achievement.

@Angelouzumaki No matter if you're using a laptop or desktop computer, make sure to enable 'Allow Developer Console' in the game settings.

The file path should look like this:
SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\left 4 dead\left4dead\addons
You should not need to create a new folder, as the addons folder should already exist.
If you cannot find the addons folder, I think it’s okay to create one, but make sure the beginning of the path is correct.
If it still doesn’t work, you may need to verify the integrity of game files through Steam.

I created the 'addons' folder in Steam > steamapps > common > left 4 dead and extractd the kill_a_ton.vpk file but I haven't got any new campaigns in Add-on Campaigns, tried to use GCFScape too but didn't work.

I can't add any mods to left 4 dead by using addons folder either, any tips?
