Survival Machine Demo: FAQ

This guide is designed to help you tackle the most common issues you might encounter during the Demo.

I found a bug!
Please use the in-game Bug Reporter tool, as it provides us with your description, screenshot, and game log, which help us greatly in fixing the bug! You can always open it by pressing F2 button.
Remember to describe what is the issue and what was happening in the game when it occurred.

… but I can’t play now!
In most cases, restarting the game should help and fix the problem. If it doesn’t, please let us know. We will do our best to fix it.

My bug reporter doesn’t work.
You may make a community post containing a link to the screenshot or/and the video showing what happened. Make sure to include the player.log file.
Where to find a player.log and a crash file?
Player.log and crashes can be found at: C:\Users\<USERNAME>\AppData\LocalLow\GrapesPickers\SurvivalMachine

There, you will find 2 files:
- Player.log - the file from your latest gameplay,
- Player-prev.log - the file from your second to last gameplay

Crashes will appear in a separate folder, called 'Crashes'.
My gamepad doesn’t work
Keyboard & Mouse are the default controllers. In Options, you can change your Input to “Automatic” and it will detect your gamepad.
Gamepad is not officially supported yet and you may face some bugs or issues.

… it still doesn’t work.
Please make sure you use Default settings for our game. Right-click on Survival Machine Demo, and hit properties.

In the Controller section, mark: Use default settings.
I got stuck in the terrain
Please report a bug using a Bug Reporter (F2). We will get your coordinates. You can hit ESC and use Unstuck button in the pause menu.
Items disappear when I place them on the Hotbar!
Please, please, please send a bug report! We have been hunting this forever!!!
I have downloaded the game, but can’t launch it.
1. Please ensure your antivirus software isn’t blocking the game. You can add the game to your antivirus exceptions list.

2. Try running the game as an administrator.

3. You may also try verifying the integrity of the game’s files or reinstalling it.

4. Don’t forget to check if your system meets the minimum requirements listed on Steam.

5. Lastly, make sure your graphics drivers are up to date.
For Content Creators
Lobby code
Lobby code will be visible on your screen when you start a lobby. It will allow everyone to join it. It would be best to establish your lobby off-screen.

Access to influencer build
We have an influencer build available. You can join our campaign on Lurkit or reach out through Discord for access.

Considering the recent driver scandals I wouldn't recommend the newest ones ;)

It doesn't let me play anymore, it appears to me "An error has occurred: no licenses"
