Why TUNNELING / CAMPING / SLUGGING is a NORMAL strategy.
By kuroshi and 1 collaborators
Disclaimer:

I'm not encouraging you to tunnel/camp/slug. I urge the developers to stop fighting this, and ordinary players not to whine about it and accept this as a fact and something normal, which it is.

Beginning
So, to begin with, this guide was created for two reasons:
The first reason is that the BHVR developers have been wantonly fighting tunneling/camping/slugging over the past few years due to the numerous complaints from the players.
And the second reason is that people are still writing these complaints, continuing their senseless struggle and do not understand that what they do is stupid and not reasonable.
Fact or joke
Below I will give an example and an explanation of my words, but if even after that you will think that tunneling / camping / slugging is not right and you need to fight it, then most likely you are just a baby survivor and do not understand anything about this game.

1) If you are being tunneled, cry.

2) If you are being face or proxycamped, cry.

3) If your entire team was slugged, cry again.
Explanation
But now seriously, tunneling / camping / slugging is not something that needs to be fought because it's just a tactic to win the game, but not cheating or bug abuse.
If you want to remove tunneling/ camping/slugging from the game, making it easier for survivors to play, then why not remove the genrush or some other strategy to make life of the killers easier.

As an example, you can take almost any dbd tournament. After analyzing any game, it can be understood that without tunneling / camping / slugging, killers will not be able to receive more than one kill, while the survivors will simply escape.

To call spade a spade-you're just whining. because you don't want to play, and try to win, no, you just want to humiliate baby killers effortlessly and enjoy how cool you've played against a rookie. Which is why you want to remove the very basics of the killer gameplay, thereby simply killing the game and its essence
Example
If you say that there are strong killers who win without tunneling / camping / slugging and everyone is happy, then you need to take into account the fact that most likely these are, first of all, the mainers of tier 1 or tier 2 killers, and they also play against weak players who can't even fast vault.

If you take trapper who plays against tournament players, then even if it is the strongest trapper player, he would recieve a maximum of one kill.
End
if you didn't like my guide, you can:

1) Write an angry comment under this guide or in my profile and prove that you are the smartest child on earth and know more than anyone in this world.

2) You can give my guide a bad rating and thus continue to whine about the basic mechanics of the game and continue to kill the game.

3) You can just cry into your pillow about it while your mom comforts you.

4) If you don't like the fact that you have to cry too much and the water in your body is already running out, you can try to go ♥♥♥♥ yourself, drink urine and come back here again.
Note
But if you suddenly think my words are correct and agree with them, then the best support from you for me would be if you recommend this guide to your friends and maybe we can show that tunneling/ camping/ slugging is normal<3,

because it was because of the whiners in the comments that BHVR decided to start fighting this.

Cry some more, baby survivors, and good luck to other residents of the fog.

In addition, I want to say that I am a surv main and just like you, I just want to play and relax with friends in my favorite game, but unlike you, I understand that tunneling / camping/ slugging is a basic mechanic and there is no need to cry about it.
Thanks a lot

I miss the early days of dbd... minus the 15 min queues

The devs are doing something about this because compared to years ago camping, slugging or tunneling has increased too much and let's be honest it's not quality of life gameplay. Tbh most of the main killers don't even like that kind of gameplay because it's not fun or dynamic, especially slugging or camping.

I didn't like this guide and I'm gonna cry into my pillow about it while *your* mom comforts me.
(I'm sorry but come on you set me up for that)

Yes, unfortunately there is no "winning" with this ill-mentality community; arguably one of the worse I've seen in many online games I've played. Older players with high prestige, 1k-4k+ hours, that stockpiled years worth of best add-ons and offerings seem to have no shame in BMing complete newbies. No wonder the player count is in decline. Imagine being a new player and your first few matches are against these shameless players that somehow developed enough insecurity to feel a sense of achievement in tea-bagging and BMing people with years less of experience than them; instead of trying to encourage them and keep them playing. Then when you start playing "dirty" to counter their sweaty perks/playstyle, they call you out and whine.

Yes you are right. A lot of survivors like to mock baby killers and cry when they are defeated by a normal killer, they start blaming either the balance of the game or the style of play of the killer himself

The garbage matchmaking in this game doesn't help either; I just came out of a match (I'm a 40 hour player btw, with like 4-5 hour as killer) and I got queued against 1k-3k+ hour SWFs that kept BMing me (on their live twitch stream too!)...like it's some sort of achievement that they've looped someone with 2,000-3,000 less hours of experience. Funnily enough, these survs would be the first to whine when killers start playing sweaty perks and tunnel/slug.

As a new player, I regret to agree with this "guide".

Even a 2-man SWF on voice chat with a good perk combination can make killers look like clowns if they don't tunnel / slug. Let alone that most of the time playing "nice" killer only leads to those insecure survs BMing you and tea-bagging you at the exit.

I've had multiple matches where I try to play nice (e.g.no try-hard aura perks; tunneling, slugging, etc.), even one where I literally gave hatch to last surv, and guess what? I get tea-bagged, emoted, and then trashtalked in post-game chat "gg ez" "close one!"; and that's me attempting to be NICE.

I use a translator so I can get the message across in a different way than I wanted to, but I hope you understand me.

Don't worry, I'm glad you said it all so politely and didn't start throwing insults. You said it well and correctly. I rarely tunnel and camp when playing killers, much less slugging. I like to learn how to play on different killers, and more often I just go to m2 to understand the ability and its chips. You're partly right and what you're saying has weight, I'm not going to contradict anything or prove the opposite to you. It's just that even with this kind of killer gameplay, I was criticized by whiny survivors and whined a lot about what I didn't do. Our task or goal, as I understand it, is to let the survivors and just the players understand that if a killer tunnels or camp, it doesn't mean that he's a terrible person, he just wants to win, and it's not necessary to throw a bunch of debris at him at the end of the game. I don't think that the developers will change their mind about changing something just because of our guidance. Have a good day my friend
