this game is pay to win- Go buy the dlc's before you attempt to lose your sanity. They have REALY cool (and usefull!) ♥♥♥♥ that you can use. *caugh* the sword *caugh*.

Movement- You wanna be sliding ALL THE TIME. Master the art of the slide, you'll need it.
There are also many tricks that you can do, i don't think this is something important, or very usefull
but if you wanna try them:

Cloak- You need to use cloak to flank enemies, just don't charge at them straight while invisible, they like to shot at the last location they saw you, aaaaaaand you *might* get shot due to that.

Focus- This is your lifeline. Without it you're gonna die. Focus management is key to not ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dying. Don't use weapons that burn throu it quickly. Try to use hostages, throw them with g, if you're running low on focus, if you're lucky their buddies will get caught in the blast. Ok, so something to remember: focus gives you stamina, so it can save your ass when you're out of stamina out in the open.

Dozer busting- Run in circles around him and pump as much lead as you can into his cranium. Will it burn throu your focus? Yes! Do i have any other idea on how to kill them? no!

Loadout- Yeaaaah this is important to consider when starting a mission. I will tell you what i'm using at the start of each section for the level. But feel free to use whatever you like (as long as it's the sword or the shotgun). In a nut shell: You would want something that can deal with crowds and something that can deal with dozers well. The best granade type for each level may be different, but usualy it's the vortex granades.(just remember to NOT use them on targets that are like only 1 meter away from you, it doesn't end well). Also, some people realy like incendiary shotguns, i don't get it personaly but you can give them a try.

Yeaaah this is EASY
You probably don't need help with this one, and if you do then GIT GUD SCRUB.

The only this that i can say is that granades realy make the last fight easy. If you time it right, you can make it so that the entire elevator full of enemies explodes right as it opens (TRY IT IT'S REALY FUN!). But you should keep at least 3 granades for the last charge. Once it starts, spam the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥(by that i mean the granades), this should kill everybody except the dozer, but he should be easy to finish off.

Well well well, the first hard level of the playthrough.

Loadout: The sword, granade launchers(dual or not, it doesn't matter), vortex granades. Vortex granades can shut down entire groups of enemies(look at video below). The Launchers are purely due to the courtyard, save them for that section. Well i guess you could also use the smart gun, you know, like a NERD, but you're not like that right?Such an epic gamer such as yourself would NEVER do such a thing!

The only part that's realy difficult is the courtyard, the rest should be easy for ya

what you'll need to survive it? Patience, a lot of breaks, and probably something to relax I recommend watching the british guy that played stanley parable.

Now for the weapons: the sword (duh) and a minigun (instert heavy tf2 joke here), also the vortex granades, i mean you get it, I LIKE THEM. The vortex's can be used during the first fight in the open area with the elevator, as the enemies there, come out in groups making them easy targets.
Now some of you might be thinking: "What about the suicide bombers!?". Well, walking backwards
and kicking them or slashing them worked out for me, soo ♥♥♥♥ it do that i guess.

What's the minigun for? For the inforcer of course! I mean ♥♥♥♥ it, just like a wise man once said "the answear? Use a gun. If that don't work? Use more gun". So we're gonna use the most gun we have available! You wanna sneak up to him using cloak, rew up that minigun, and up as much fire power in that smug face of his as possible, while runing circles around him, and while focused. Don't worry, later cannon fodder comes so that you can regain it (use one of your granades on one of the doorways, and look at them getting sucked in!). And then do the same thing again in the secound faze! After you kill him you can get rid of the minigun if you want to, it's not all that usefull in the later parts of the level.

The flesh golem-Stab him with your sword and dodge his attacks, that's it, it's a realy easy boss fight.

The Patriarch-Make sure you have at least a bit of focus when entering his chamber, or else you're kinda gonna get murdered there. The best weapon for Gianni is the penetrator (the explody one), sneak up on the bastard and try to hit him with all 3 of them, a lot of damage and not so much risk. Igonre the secound fleshy boy in the last faze, focus on taking out Gabriel Ultrakill.

NOW FOR THE REAL BOSS FIGHT OF THE LEVEL, the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ burning library. I swear to god i died there more times the in all of site 83. To beat that section, you need to pray for a miracle. Run, think, shoot and live, that's all i can say. Good luck, you're gonna need it

Hey! Look! That's the level that is not completly ♥♥♥♥♥♥! You better appreciate it while it lasts! I'm not joking the level after this is hell.

It's mostly just regular gun fights, backrooms, regular gun fights in backrooms. Nothing you can't handle assuming you've beaten previous levels.

For the guns: Use whatever you like, and by that i mean the sword and something that you like(i recommend granade launcher).Hey have you noticed that i like the sword yet? and of course, say it with me, the vortex granades!

In the shard boss fight, you'll have to deal with 3 elevators full of enemies (and one doorway near the ned). All of them fall to the might of the vortex. The biggest threat are the dozers, but as long as you have an effective weapon against them (you know, a gun), then you should be fine

you wanna know what advice i have? Do something else with your life. Beating this ♥♥♥♥ level is not worth it, go outside, do things that make you happy, write that one book you always wanted to write. Don't waste your life playing Trepang or worse, making quides for it. It's too late for me now. Leave while you still can.

tips:
-the minigun is realy good for the helicopter fight
-swords stab mode is realy good for minigun thugs.

You're all alone here. You, your weapons and reflexes, that's the only thing that can keep you alive in that hell hole. Remember to take brakes to not lose your mind, you know, put something relaxing in your playlist, have some fun, you're gonna need it with this piece of ♥♥♥♥ level. I would say good luck but that would be an understatement, you'll need GREAT luck.

Don't worry lad! This part is nowhere near the difficulty of Horizon HQ, It's mostly just regular gun fights, wich you should take care of easily by now.

"But what about the cyborg ninja?"- The thing is, he's easy as ♥♥♥♥. Like he has dark souls boss levels of wind up. Soooooo just dodge him.

Just a bunch of guys with guns over here, nothing special nor something you can't deal with.

During the fight in the sotrage area (the one before war crimes) you can use vortrex granades when they go throu the doorways.

That's all i have to say about it, nothing interesting over here

Avast, ye boy! Or else it will shiver ye timbers! Yo ho ho, in this level you'll have to deal with an old seadog, Capitan Morrison and his bilge-sucking privateers.

Loudout: Arrrr! me sword for cleaveing them to the brisket. A gun good for those landlubber dozers.And me favorite, the vortex granades! Tired of using the same sutff? Blimey, it's not me fault
that's it's the best!

For most of the level ye will only deal with regular scurvy dogs. Easy to deal with the old fashioned way, with the blunderbuss (or me sword). Give no quarter, and ye shall live to tell the tale.
The biggest problems are the old seadog and later the fight with those swashbuckler clones.
But prepare yer buttocks for this, it's not gonna be easy.

Seadog Morrison fight- The biggest problem ye will be facing be those missiles. The easiest way of dealing with them is to hide behind cover, using pillars or crates so that missiles hit them instead of ye. But that's for the lily-livered! Ye are not a coward now are ye? Of course not! The other way of avoiding missiles is dodge them. Now normaly ye don't have enough stamina for it, so ye will have to use a bit of yer focus. Avoid the missiles, and when the times comes, fire in the hole!(The minigun is especially effective for that). Few rounds of this an ye will scuttle his ship, returning him to the briney deep, for Davy Jones to take care of him.

Clones- Ye will have to be constantly be vigilant, if ye don't want to be shark bait. But there's one hornswaggle me boy, if ye pay close attencion, you can see them even while they're invisible! It can give ye a free shot or two so it's usefull. In that arena ye will have to be constantly moving, sliding, running and stabing to survive. Leave none of those landlubbers alive, me boy!

Ok so there are a couple types I'll be going over

Hacker missions- Try to start hacking the ones in the most exposed positions first, and the most defendable ones last. The longer you stay there, the harder waves become, so it's good to get rid of the most ♥♥♥♥♥♥ ones first. Both hacker levels also have cool stuff to loot in them, mines and what not. You should try to use them to your advantage. Hacker missions (and hord missions also) have diffrent stuff to buy. TF27 assistance is neat because they get some of that presure of you, in other words, they're a good distraction.

Horde missions-they're mostly the same stuff as hacker missions but without the servers.
The hardest mission of this type is the crash site. Wich leads me to:

The Crash site- For this mission the best weapon is the swo-NOPE! you thought I was gonna say the sword eh? WRONG! The shotgun is better for this mission. Mostly because it's realy open and you'll probably need something that you know, can hit something more then 1 meter away from you. The level is mostly just regular waves of enemies with some cool stuff along the way. First of all, the airstrikes. They're surprisingly easy to dodge, yeah i'm not kidding, just slide and all of them will miss you. Now the secound thing that you'll have to deal with are the snipers. Basically you wanna rush them as soon as you can, going into a ranged battle is not a good idea when all your enemies have better aim then you.

Unidentified Structure- So after the horror segment you will have to deal with Talon. Now for this level you should have guns that are good at range, wich mean no sword of shotgun. Something like homing granade launcher or the minigun should do the trick. Rifle is also a good option. The fun thing about this level is that when you're crawling uder the structure, you can hit enemies but they can't hit you. So you can get rid of them without any risk, but it's also kinda boring.
