"Max" Graphics
By IchigoMait
Glass surfaces have a reflection, also other rough surfaces that are reflective are more mirror like.
Less lighting flickering overall and on some reflective surfaces.
Little bit extra sharpness.

put it in Engine.ini at the top, no need to make it read only
Engine.ini
[ConsoleVariables]
r.Lumen.HardwareRayTracing.LightingMode=1 ; (default 2)(adds back some light sources that were missing in reflections)
r.Lumen.Reflections.HierarchicalScreenTraces.RelativeDepthThickness=0 ; (default 0.005)(removes some weird lines in reflections)
r.Lumen.Reflections.SmoothBias=1 ; (default 0)(more mirror like reflections)
r.Lumen.ScreenProbeGather.Temporal.RelativeSpeedDifferenceToConsiderLightingMoving=0.01 ; (default 0.005)(higher value reduces lighting flickering and vice versa, lower values reduce ghosting going above doesn't increase ghosting)
r.Lumen.ScreenProbeGather.TemporalFilterProbes=1 ; (default 0)
r.Lumen.Reflections.Temporal.MaxFramesAccumulated=0 ; (default 32)(almost no lighting flickering on reflective surfaces)
r.Lumen.TranslucencyReflections.FrontLayer.Enable=1 ; (default 0)(allows for reflections on glassy surfaces)
r.LumenScene.Radiosity.Temporal.MaxFramesAccumulated=30 ; (default 4)(reduces in some reflections lighting flickering)
r.SkeletalMeshLODBias=-2 ; (default 0)(less object lod pop in, like npc armors changing shape, based on distance)
r.Streaming.PoolSize=-1 ; (default 300)(more dynamic poolsize)
r.Tonemapper.Sharpen=1 ; (default -1)
sg.ViewDistanceQuality=4 ; (default 3)(cinematic, less object pop in)

Here's the comparison if you're curious: https://imgur.com/a/DpwY71B
"ALL THE LINES" means all the reflection lines, I've deleted the other ones

I wanted to just improve the reflections without everything else, and hopefully see no performance drop. Sadly no matter which lines I've tried - it's either bad reflections or worse performance.

guess I'll try with unlimited fps and what the fps changes are
IchigoMait  [author] 13 Mar @ 11:19am
what about this?
r.Lumen.HardwareRayTracing.LightingMode=1 ; (default 2)(adds back some light sources that were missing in reflections)
2 should be technically higher quality, but for some reason it's worse than 1, maybe this?
or this
r.Lumen.Reflections.Temporal.MaxFramesAccumulated=0 ; (default 32)(almost no lighting flickering on reflective surfaces)

or you can just try 1 by 1

hopefully you did the edits while the game was closed, otherwise it will overwrite your changes to back what it was before

I've tried only leaving 3 or 4 lines that are for reflections, but the fps still dropped by 10 or a bit less

It is most likely just because of this.
r.SkeletalMeshLODBias=-2 ; (default 0)(less object lod pop in, like npc armors changing shape, based on distance)
sg.ViewDistanceQuality=4 ; (default 3)(cinematic, less object pop in)

The rest shouldn't really matter, probably it's just the sg setting.
For example when I tried to change the sg shadow quality to higher than epic, that took a big toll.
If we had in the game cinematic options, we would have even more people complaining about game not being optimized, while not just using lower settings.

rtx 3060, ryzen7 5800h, 32gb ram, laptop, 1080p.
Sadly these changes reduce my fps by 10.
Reflections are nice but they are not worth it imo

For me with rtx 4070 and i7 14700k, I'm using max settings.
1080p DLSS quality, framegen on.
90fps limit.
If I noticed some fps changes, I didn't add them.
My priority was just adding more reflections or add some extra visual distance, and less noise from the lumen lighting, without seeing my fps change, I didn't test with unlimited fps.

disable vsync and fps limit
find a spot, prolly best on the tower, save there check the fps
quit the game
put the changes in, load the same spot

and post the fps difference and your cpu/gpu
and I guess also what graphics settings you used as base

Is there a performance drop?
