If you have hazardous and mixed waste at a pickup location, use a "pre-incinerator" and burn the hazardous waste before it goes into the pickup raildump.
Sorted waste materials do not need waste trains as well (and generally no trains at all); you can directly send it to aggregate storages and use them further, truck them around to nearest point of regular use via DO or at worst simply have an RDO with a task to "export when 90% full" for gravel (usual problematic material; steel and plastics you can find a use for usually).
ChatGPT rambled on about ‘waste stations’. Are there waste stations mods?
You mentioned "Full open skids (in BOTH transfers AND open external points) emit small pollution with even one half-full container, while closed bins do not". I wonder what distance would be enough for an apartment not to suffer from this small pollution?
I am asking this because I am trying to find the source of 1% pollution of the settlement, where the open container stand with some hazardous waste (no overflowing here or anywhere else) in the town center is roughly 130 m away from the nearest apartment. Do you think it the cause of that 1% pollution? Thanks again!
I'd like to build a chain of waste separation, plastic waste interim storage and recycling factory, but the plastic waste gets stuck in the waste separation system.
I've got it. Plastic waste factory doesn't pull from waste storage. but it pulls from regular open storage. that was weird for me, because all other waste industry pulls from waste storage just fine
