Intro
This guide will show you how to unlock every Steam achievement for Slay the Princess, including the ones added in the Pristine Cut. This includes spoilers for the whole game, so read with caution. If, while using this guide, you are unsure of how to get to a specific chapter, or how to have a specific voice for any of the chapters, you should check out my Chapter/Vessel Guide, which is linked right here: Chapter/Vessel Guide
"A Song to Remember"
This achievement is given by fully completing the in-game gallery, which is unlocked after completing any ending. I’m not going to explain how to get every image here, because I am planning to make a guide later on which will detail exactly how to unlock every gallery image. Once I finish it, I will link it either in this section, or in the comments.
Endings
“Our Song”: This achievement will be unlocked when you complete any ending, besides the Good Ending.

“The Good Ending”: In Chapter 1, take the knife and slay the princess without any hesitation, then believe that she is dead. Head upstairs, and when the Narrator gives you your gift, accept it and don’t listen to the Hero.

“There are no endings”: When you meet the Shifting Mound in her full form, don’t argue with her and just choose to leave with her immediately.

“Through Conflict”: Fight back against the Shifting Mound when you meet her, but ultimately give in and leave with her.

“And? What happens next?”: Fight back against the Shifting Mound, going through all of your vessels before reuniting with the Voice of the Hero. Let him take you to the cabin, then head to the basement without the knife. Talk to the princess for a bit and then offer to leave together with her.

“You’re on a path in the woods…”: Fight back against the Shifting Mound until you reunite with the Voice of the Hero. Let him take you to the cabin, then enter the basement with the knife. Talk to the princess for a bit and then accept the deal she proposes, and hand over the knife to her.

“A New and Unending Dawn”: Fight back against the Shifting Mound until you reunite with the Voice of the Hero. Let him take you to the cabin, then enter the basement with the knife. Choose the option to slay her. Leave the cabin, and witness your new world with all of your friends.

“A New and Unending Dawn, and Everyone Hates You”: Throughout the game, every time you approach the mirror in the Long Quiet (except for the first time, since you won't have the option), tell the voices that “it is the end for you, but not for me”. Once you get to the end of the game, follow the same steps as you would for “A New and Unending Dawn”, and you will get this achievement.

“Strange Beginnings”: For this achievement, you need to get the Stranger as your first vessel. If you don’t know how to get her, you can look at my guide to unlock each chapter and vessel. Once you get to the end, fight back against the Shifting Mound until the Hero reappears. Let him take you into the cabin, and from here, you can get whatever other ending you want.

Oblivion: All of the achievements titled after the stages of grief (“Denial”, “Anger”, “Bargaining”, “Depression”, “Acceptance”), and “Just as once you were nothing…” are unlocked progressively by completing the Oblivion ending. To get this ending, you need to play through Chapter 1 like normal, taking whichever route you prefer. Once you get to Chapter 2, however, you need to turn around and run away from the cabin. After you do this, you will get sent back to Chapter 1, and you need to do this again, doing it 5 times in total. You will get a new achievement for each time you do it, and then a final achievement once you finish.

“Your New World”: This is probably the most involved ending to unlock. To get it, you need to play through the game, getting any 5 of the following princesses as your vessels:

-The Stranger
-Mutually Assured Destruction (Razor Chapter IV)
-The Empty Cup (Razor Chapter IV)
-Deconstructed Damsel
-The Apotheosis (By defying her and throwing your knife at her eye)
-The Apotheosis (By trying to help her but then giving into the pain and wrapping around her)
-The Wraith (By jumping into the void)
-The Wounded Wild (By stabbing her)
-The Eye of the Needle (By attacking her once she’s outside)
-The Den (By fighting her)
-Drowned Grey
-The Cage (By breaking the chains)
-The Princess and the Dragon (By leaving her in the cabin once you are back in your body) (Thank you to Wintermute for the correction)
(This is not a complete list, but it should be enough to give you some options on how you want to get the ending.)

After the fifth princess is taken into the Long Quiet, you will enter the confrontation with the Shifting Mound, and you need to defy her. Each time she shows you a vessel, make sure you choose the dialogue option that is outlined in red. After she gives up, choose to destroy her, and the most secret ending of Slay the Princess will be yours!
"A _____ Heart"
These achievements are all unlocked by bringing different vessels to Her. I’m not going to put them all here, but I have a different guide posted that includes how to unlock each vessel, linked in the intro.
Non-Chapter Specific Achievements
“The Real Slay the Princess Starts Here” “The Body” “The Bloat” “The Decay” “The Remains” “The Long Quiet”- These 6 achievements are all unlocked through normal progression of the game, no matter what chapters you go through. You get each of them at a different point of the game, all by looking in the mirror in the Long Quiet after She takes a vessel.

“Death of the Author” is unlocked by exhausting all the options while talking to the Narrator, with all the pieces of the mirror eventually breaking.

“I Don’t Need Answers” is unlocked by immediately smashing the Narrator’s mirror when you finally meet him.

“I Never Left Your Side” is unlocked by bringing any vessel to Her, and then attempting to wait forever while talking to the Mound in the Long Quiet. (I actually really love this achievement and I think it is incredibly clever on the part of the developers, so I recommend you experience it for yourself)

“Past the Point of No Return” is unlocked by bringing at least one vessel to the Shifting Mound, then coming back to Chapter I, and attempting to get the Good Ending. Once you go through all the steps and tell the Voice of the Hero that you are, indeed, happy, the Good Ending screen will come up for a few seconds before benign interrupted by the voice of the Shifting Mound, and you will get the achievement.
The Adversary
“I Didn’t Hear No Bell”- Go down to the basement without taking the knife. Choose the option to step forward and fight the Adversary. Continue choosing the option to stand back up and fight her, over and over until the chapter ends.

“That Which Cannot Die Cannot Die…”- Go down to the basement with the knife. Attack the princess, then keep pushing your blade into her arm. When she tosses your knife back to you, attack her again. Once you black out, get back up, then choose the explore option that says “Close to untethering?” Finally, choose any dialogue option on the next screen.

“Strike Me Down…”- Head into the basement, either with or without the knife. Once facing the princess, choose the explore option that says, “I haven’t decided what I’m doing yet.”, then choose to step closer. Tell her you won’t fight her, and continue choosing not to until the chapter ends.

“That Shouldn’t Have Worked”- Take the knife and head into the basement. Attack the princess, then keep pushing your blade into her arm. When she tosses your knife back to you, choose the explore option that ends with “That doesn’t mean we’re immortal.” She will give you a free hit on her, and you need to take it, which will give you the achievement.
The Tower
“Your Obedient Servant”- Enter the basement, with or without the knife. Do what the Tower tells you to do, then choose the option to pledge yourself to her. Finally, break her chains.

“Godkiller”- Enter the basement with the knife. After dropping the knife and kneeling, choose the dialogue option that begins with “I’m not going to help you end the world.” Pick up the blade, stand up, “end this”, then continue choosing to slay the princess until you actually slay her.

“The Scorpion”- Enter the basement with the knife. Choose the explore option that ends with “We should team up.”, then the one that starts with “Why do I have a nagging feeling…”, and then the one that says “I guess I’ll cut you out of here.” Leave with the princess, and make her go up the stairs ahead of you. Stab her in the back with the knife.

The Stranger
“The Illusion of Choice”- Complete the Stranger’s chapter. (There aren’t really any specific options or branching paths to take in this chapter, hence the achievement’s title, so it should be pretty straightforward.)
The Eye of the Needle
“A Wide Open Field”- With the Voice of the Hunted, enter the basement with the knife. Step out into the basement, then turn back and run away, until you get back out in front of the cabin. Begin attacking the Eye here, until she falls down from her injuries.

The Fury
(Thank you to @flarespeed for the corrections)

“Quantum Beak”- With the voices of the Broken and the Stubborn (you must have had the Tower as your Chapter II princess to get this achievement), enter the basement. Choose either non-explore option. Once she has finished ripping you apart, and you are back standing face-to-face with her, she will intertwine the two of you, and you get the achievement.

“A new leaf in a weathered book”- With the voices of the Stubborn and the Broken or the Stubborn and the Cold (you must have had the Adversary as your Chapter II princess), enter the basement. Either fight back or let her end you. After she has finished ripping you apart and you two are back in the room together, tell her that you are “still her”, and ask her to leave with you.

“The End of Something”- This achievement is unlocked no matter what, as soon as you see the Apotheosis burst out of the ground.

“Something to remember you by”- Approach the cabin, then take the knife out of the tree. Charge at the Apotheosis, and once you get the chance, throw your knife into her eye.

“A Window to the Unknown”- Approach the cabin, then choose to embrace your new goddess. Once you two are in the Long Quiet together, and she starts pulling at the walls, you need to not endure the pain, and instead attack her, and make her "feel what you feel". You should get the achievement once you approach the mirror.

“Grace”- Approach the cabin, and either take the knife and charge at her or attempt to flee. Once she picks you up, choose to embrace your new goddess. Once she begins pulling at the walls of the Long Quiet, endure the pain until she is done.

The Princess and the Dragon
(Thank you to @ttv,ewanconan for the corrections)

“You don’t have to keep picking the same option”- Choose the explore option that begins with “What are we supposed to do?”, and then continue choosing “There has to be something for us to do other than wait.” until she stops responding to you.

“What Once Was One, Then Was Two”- Choose the explore option to wait, then talk to the Princess about the title card. Once you go through the dialogue and are back in your own body, give the knife to the Princess so she can cut herself out. Leave the cabin together and lay down outside with her.

“The Princess and the Dragon”- Choose the explore option to wait, then talk to the Princess about the title card. Once you go through the dialogue and are back in your own body, either slay the Princess or try to cut her out of her chains instead of handing over the knife.

"An Opportunist at Heart"- Choose the explore option to wait, then talk to the Princess about the title card. Once you go through the dialogue and are back in your own body, just take the knife and leave her in the cabin.

“Wait wait wait wait wait!”- In Chapter II, you need to attack the Spectre when you first see her. In Chapter III, choose the explore option to wait, then talk to the Princess about the title card. Continue into the cabin. Choose explore options to advance time until you can point out to the Cage that you are unarmed. Take her head, then climb up to the top of the cabin. For "Allegory of the Cage", leave with the Cage's head. For "Free Will", drop her head back into the cabin.

“Shadows on the Walls”- With the Voice of the Skeptic, enter the upstairs room and sit at the table. Try to get up from your seat, then tell the Princess that something is keeping you sitting down. Ask her who “he” is, and then the Skeptic will realize and tell you who it truly is.
Additional Notes/Final Thoughts
Hello! In case anyone is actually reading this, I wanted to just leave a few notes on my process for creating this guide. I wanted to create this guide completely on my own, without relying on looking at any other guides for help while making it. I did this mostly successfully, as I did have to go to the Black Tabby Discord server a few times for help with some of the harder to get achievements, including the "Your New World" ending. I still feel very accomplished, though, because I was able to create this just based on playing through the game myself and what I could figure out based on the achievements' names and descriptions. Unfortunately, I was unable to test this whole guide out in game, since I already have every achievement, so some parts of the guide may be incorrect. If you are using this guide and are unable to get a specific achievement using the instructions, don't hesitate to let me know in the comments, and I will try my best to fix it. Thank you so much for using my guide!

can someone explain a little better the "quantum beak" achivment? do i need to get to the towers fury in a specific way, do something at the chapter itself? bc everything led me to unraveled fury(or whathever she was called im on diffrent language)
Onyx  [author] 22 Apr @ 5:21pm
I have edited several things since I originally wrote this guide, but it's only things that I got wrong and needed to be corrected. Again, I don't think it's necessary to list every way to get each of the achievements, and for that ending I feel like I provided enough options for people to choose which ones they want to go with.
Aejiou 21 Apr @ 9:32am
Are you planning to edit anything? You also get red dialogue options for the secret ending from Fury (when she is killed again and again with Stubborn) and Burned Gray.
Onyx  [author] 19 Apr @ 10:21am
I'm sure there are alternate ways to get a lot of these achievements, but I don't think it's necessary to list each one.
Aejiou 19 Apr @ 4:47am
I got The Frog not taking a knife and having the Princess go first. She then sees the knife and locks you up. I figure it's possible to also get Scorpion via the same route, not taking the knife but then going first to find the knife yourself.
Onyx  [author] 14 Apr @ 7:30pm
Alright, thank you. I have corrected it in the guide.
flarespeed 13 Apr @ 3:35pm
just checked the tower fury, looks like you do need to start from the adversary to get the weathered book achievement, even though you bring the broken and the stubborn with you on that route, to let her start unwinding you you need to submit, which makes the broken leave earlier than when approaching from the adversary.
flarespeed 12 Apr @ 7:37pm
i've found that approaching from the adversary, you need to either bring the cold or the broken (stubborn always comes with you). idk if approaching the fury from the tower changes this.
Onyx  [author] 12 Apr @ 3:06pm
Which combinations of voices specifically work?
flarespeed 11 Apr @ 11:51pm
just tested it, broken works too, just not contrarian.
