Pistol, AKA Desert worm
The Desert worm (abbreviated as DW) is primarily used as a sidearm to the BR-15.

Semi-auto
300$
7 round magazine
1 second interval between shots
3 second reload time from empty magazine

The DW can be pulled out faster than reloading a BR-15 or Sniper. It can be used in combat situations where cover is not readily available. Has good accuracy, and is useful for 1-shot killing targets at close-medium range. Has no player recoil, so your aim will remain at the same level

Best used for: avoiding the long reload time of other weapons

Tips: Take cover between shots, as it is only semi-auto and there is a delay stopping you from rapid firing. Is powerful enough to pierce thin armour and most doors, and can break low level fortifications
Rifle, AKA BR-15
The BR-15 is usually used for clearing out armoured/groups of enemies.

Full-auto
600$
30 round magazine
somewhere around a 0.25 second interval between shots
4 second reload time from empty magazine

The BR-15 has the largest magazine of vanilla weapons, to go with its high rate of fire. It is usually used at close range to clear out multiple enemies. Accuracy is low, and player recoil is medium. Youll have to use your mouse to aim well. Does not work well in medium/long range shooting

Best used for: Clearing groups of enemies

Tips: Use at close range, and keep your hand on the mouse. Dont empty an entire mag on one person- Fire in burst shots of 4-6 rounds. Take cover during reloads. If you need to move, prioritize the BR-15 over other weapons, as aiming while moving is difficult. The BR-15s rapid fire negates this
SG-550, AKA Sniper
The Sniper is almost always used for long distance shooting with a sniper scope equipped.

Bolt-action
1200$
8 round magazine
2 second interval between shots
4 second reload time from empty magazine

The Sniper is powerful, accurate, and has a low bullet drop. It will 1-shot enemies when fired at the head, almost regardless of distance. No player recoil. Works in medium and long range shooting best.

Best used for: Long distance sniping

Tips: Not recommended to use at close range, due to the bolt action delay of 2 seconds. Best used with sniper scope. Account for bullet drop, and aim up the further away the target is. Try to hit enemies on the first shot to avoid them getting to cover. When shooting moving targets, aim where they will be, not where they are. Aim farther in account for speed. On ingame maps (not spawned ones), it is a good idea to sit in trees, as the leaves will obscure you, but you can still see them. It is best to snipe from a small mound/hill, so you can back down into cover if an enemy sniper spots you. If possible, have a friend watch your back while you shoot
BKG AT-8, AKA rocket launcher, RPG, or anti tank launcher
The RPG is primarily used for destroying armoured vehicles or light fortifications.

1200$
1 round
5 second reload time

The RPG is usually used for taking out light/medium fortifications. Accuracy is low, and it has a lot of bullet drop. Deals 50% damage if it lands about a meter from an enemy, kills them if any closer. I have not seen it capable of setting fire to anything

Best used for: Taking out light/medium fortifications and vehicles from close range

Tips: When aiming from a distance, aim much higher than other weapons the further away you are. It can easily take out unarmoured sections of vehicles, so aim for windows, wheels, tracks, etc. It is not at all recommended for use farther than 100 meters. Almost useless against fast moving targets unless you know what you are doing
Grenades
Grenades are usually used for destroying light fortifications and clearing out rooms with enemies inside.

Throw
100$
Possibly infinite
2 seconds to throw
Explodes after around 4 seconds

The grenade is most used for destroying fortifications and clearing out rooms with enemies inside. They explode 4 seconds after being thrown, and can bounce off walls. It is possible to pick up active grenades, but it is not recommended as it takes about 2 seconds to pick up the grenade, and it wont automatically be equipped if you are already holding something, requiring you to manually equip it. If you already have non-armed grenades in your inventory, you would have to equip those first and then equip the live grenade, which would take around 6 seconds, by which time youd be dead.

Best used for: Clearing out rooms with enemies inside

Tips: You can bounce grenades off walls, so you can stay behind cover while throwing them. Useful for corridors. If you need to throw a grenade through a door, it is best to wait until the grenade is about to be thrown before opening the door. This will let you stay in cover longer, and give your enemies less time to react. You are a vulnerable target while throwing grenades, so stay behind cover when you can

the physics is tied to fps, like everything is, but if you aim good they are effective
