Listen, I'm a Diamond Genji player who played from season 1 of OW1. I'm the authority here. I'm Diamond.
I enjoyed playing this character and this character only, no other character gave me this level of hype in any other game. I felt cool and quick. I was Diamond. So, when I started this game, I instantly wanted to see which was the most Genji character possible. It got confusing, even though I was Diamond.


Listen, I'm a Diamond Genji player in Overwatch. Of course I knew Necros. That guy was like God to me. So, you see Necros play Spiderman and you instantly assume "That's the new Genji". Wrong.

• No dashes (A very quick jump is not a dash, it should deal damage. A fast moving punch is not a dash.) ❌

Veredict: NOT GENJI

As a Diamond player, I'm not racist. We leave that to the pros and GMs in scrims. I can accept Genji being black. And this is the greatest competitor and runner up to the Genji name.

• No fast projectiles, not much of a poke potential. Either get the kill or don't. ❌

You probably knew this was coming. Even if you weren't Diamond like me, you knew. I'm disappointed too.

• Sword, in fact her ult is Genji's ult in automatic mode ✅

This is sad, folks, and let me tell you why. She's Genji with nothing of the cool parts of being Genji. The dashes don't reset, they lower the cooldown. The ult is not the same. Its what we Diamond and above players did when we ulted, but automatically. Feels like being Diamond is not important right now, which must be fake.
