GUARANTEED GREEN TRUST FACTOR!!!
By nhdtu
Unfortunately, a “green” Trust Factor in CS2 isn’t something you can guarantee to “get” with the snap of your fingers. It’s more the result of long-term, positive behavior on Steam and in CS2. Valve doesn’t disclose the specific factors that influence Trust Factor, but here’s what likely matters and what you can do to improve your chances:

Steam Activity and Reputation:
  • Account Age: The older your account, the better.
  • Game Purchases: Regularly buying games on Steam positively influences Trust Factor.
  • Using Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator: Make sure to enable two-factor authentication. This shows that you take account security seriously.
  • Completing Profile: Fill out your Steam profile with information, an avatar, etc. (shows you’re a real person).
  • Community Activity: Participating in discussions, creating content (guides, reviews), adding friends – all of this can help.
  • Absence of Violations: Avoid violating Steam rules (fraud, insults, using cheats in other games). Any bans, even in other games, will negatively impact your Trust Factor.
Behavior in CS2:
  • Positive Behavior:
  • Absence of Reports: Avoid situations where other players report you (for toxicity, cheating, etc.).
  • Commendations from Other Players: Encourage commendations from teammates. Try to play as a team and be friendly.
  • Good Statistics: Although there is no direct confirmation, it is logical to assume that good statistics (high K/D, low deaths, high damage, etc.) may indirectly affect the Trust Factor, as it shows that you are an experienced and skilled player.
  • Avoid Toxicity: Don’t insult other players, don’t troll, don’t use voice chat to spread negativity.
  • Play Fairly: Never use cheats, scripts, or other third-party programs that give an unfair advantage.
  • Avoid Smurf Accounts: Playing on an account of a lower rank in order to “destroy” newbies negatively affects the Trust Factor.
  • Regular Play: The more you play, the more information Valve collects about your behavior. Regular play (without violations) can improve your Trust Factor.
Checking Trust Factor (Indirectly):
  • Unfortunately, there is no way to directly see your Trust Factor.
  • Pay Attention to the Quality of Matches: If you often play with toxic players, cheaters, or simply players of a significantly lower level, this may be a sign of a low Trust Factor.
  • Ask Friends: Play with friends and ask if they have noticed any oddities in your matches (for example, a large number of cheaters).
Important to Understand:
  • Improving Trust Factor is a lengthy process. Don’t expect instant results.
  • There is no guaranteed way to get a green Trust Factor. Just try to be a positive member of the Steam and CS2 community.
  • Valve is constantly changing Trust Factor algorithms, so what works today may not work tomorrow.
In Conclusion:
Overall, focus on building a positive reputation on Steam and CS2, play fairly, and be friendly to other players. This is the best way to improve your Trust Factor.
