Too bad. I know you think they are broken, but they aren't, actually. Now you got an excuse to play this brutal game!

Good news and Bad news...

Let's start with the Good News:

You can earn 91% of the achievements in the game! (Botanist cannot be earned because one of the packets is nowhere to be found, leaving you at 5/4/5/5/5 in found packets).

The Bad News:

No saving feature... You gotta do all of it in a sitting. You can still die 3 times and it will take you back to the mission selection with the missions completed. Not so bad news, eh?

Anyways, this is what you will have to do:

1) Type this into your browser:

steam://open/console



It will run the Steam Console, which is extremely useful if you are an achievement hunter like myself! :)



2) Type this next on the Console on Steam:

download_depot 349950 349951 798447725958617755



It will download the oldest version of the game. This version doesn't have the broken achievements the newer versions have.



This will be located differently, depending on how your directory is arranged. The console will tell you exactly where it is. THIS DOESN'T MEAN YOUR GUNWORLD DIRECTORY IS REPLACED! That's what we will do now!



3) Delete all the data in the GunWorld directory: This one is usually located on "Steam(Or SteamLibrary)/Steamapps/Common/Gunworld"





4) Copy the Depot copy you downloaded into that directory you erased in Step 3.





5) READ HERE FIRST BEFORE CONTINUING! If you try to run it right now, it WON'T WORK!. An exe. is missing and it will try to re-download everything and this swap will fail, since you will be playing on the newer version again.
What you have to do before anything is to go to the Gunworld directory again, rename the .EXE file from "GunWorld" to "GunWorld Steam".





Now you are set! Enjoy getting almost all of the achievements this way!
