Running a DayZ server on a Raspberry Pi 5
By Lampshady
I've created a docker image and GitHub guide to successfully run DayZ off of a Raspberry Pi. I was able to get the server to work successfully on an 8GB Raspberry Pi 5, an NVMe hat, and a crucial NVMe drive. I have only tested this server with one user so YMMV but per top, the RAM utilization is running at about 65% and CPU usage is at 105% (out of the 400% possible with the 4 cores). It runs pretty warm but not nearly as smoking hot as when running a deepseek-r1 7b LLM. Hopefully these guides can be useful to someone looking for a new project for their Raspberry Pi.
