A simple mod that makes Caravansary and Harbor more useful.

LIST OF CHANGES

Caravansary: added +1 gold, added +1 gold from each cotton, dyes, incense, silk, and spices worked by the city.

Harbor: removed gold maintenance, added +1 gold, added +1 gold from each fish, crab, pearls, and whales worked by the city.

The reason I made these changes is that I rarely build caravansaries or harbors in my games, caravansaries being especially useless. While harbors are useful for coastal civilizations, caravansaries are very rarely needed.

Now, both of these buildings generate enough gold to justify their construction in most circumstances. This is also a subtle buff for playing wide, which tends to be more interesting than playing tall, and for Carthage, which gains free harbors in its coastal cities.

I also have a similar mod, Citrus Cures Scurvy, which adds +1 food and +1 gold from citrus if the city has a seaport. Here's the link:

Excellent mod, pairs well with City of Marbles which adds a National Wonder for caravansary's and Arendelle's (4) Extra Policy Trees and Ideologies which has a policy in Commerce that buffs caravansary's. A buff to range like the post below said would be nice and not OP.

thank you, that would make the caravansary even better (but not imbalanced). The base distance is a mere 10, 15 with the caravansary, sure, with combustion it is 20, but that are not so many tiles, is it? Imagine how far they traveled on the silk road, and they can barely reach the next city. I think giving it 100% extra range istead of 50% would be good. Cargo ships have 20 default range, raising it to 40 may be a bit much... on the other hand, long range travels were common.

looking good so far. It isn't imbalanced like a lot of other caravansary mods. Some bigger buff on the radius if possible would be nice, still.
