you should definitely buy the box because it makes you invisible to all cameras. it is hella cheap (50$) so i don't see a reason to not buy it other than challenging yourself.

it is extremely important to buy deluxe chew toys. that's because almost every level on difficulty 3 has one or two dogs in it. if a dog sees a deluxe chew toy, it's out of the action for the rest of the robbery.

another great item to buy is the nightvision goggles. how the item works is self explanatory and is very useful, especially on earlier levels.

if you get sneakers to max level, guards won't hear your footsteps, so that's a great item too!

the cable cutters are actually useless because you can just sneak (hold CTRL) past the trip wires (and those "mines" as well).

all the other items are not necessary to 100% the game.

pretty simple, actually. you'll find a map's secret eventually by exploring.

"but how do i find the 'delirious killer' thing?"
go to the pawn shop. on the left, there is a door with a pumpkin on it. lockpick it and walk through it. you'll be then transported to a halloween-themed robbery. the 'delirious killer' secret is located in one of the right-most buildings. you might need a key to get in the room where the secret is. to find the key, you just have to search stuff. you will only lose your money if you get caught or forfeit in this level, so spend all your money on stuff before playing this level.


if you don't see a map's secret and you don't have the achievement for it, that means you have collected it before the achievement bug was fixed. to fix this, reset your save so that the secrets reappear. don't worry, you can cheat unlock all the game's levels by modifying your save (C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\MiniThief\Save.ini). (this has been fixed by the dev)

like i previously mentioned, you can hold CTRL to sneak. it's not only useful against trip wires and "mines", but also makes it so that guards won't hear your footsteps.

you can sprint by pressing SHIFT. you can even sprint while sneaking and the effects of sneaking will still apply!
