Xol is a grey planet with abundant grass, "water", and grey sugar cane under an eternally black sky with a large moon and small sun. Xol is home to luminox, wyvocots, and possibly something else if my brain brains properly.

Luminox are genderless shadow creatures that die in sunlight and turn other creatures into shadow fluid for consumption. They inhabit the parts of Xol that are shielded by the large moon preying on wyvocots and being the reason why aliens never visit Xol.

Wyvocots are fluffy, vocal creatures known for their ability to live for a long time and produce yummy ice and wyvocotton. They communicate via light across long distances and with sound while nearby each other. They are commonly found in small groups next to grey ponds or cube rocks eating sugar cane and singing to each other while flashing their lights.

(name)s are large fluffy single celled organisms that feed off of grey grass and roots. They are commonly eaten by both wyvocots and luminox due to the fact that wyvocots can't digest grass but still need to get nutrition from it and (name)s are easy to find.

(___)s are large insectoid creatures found near grey ponds sucking sugar out of sugar canes. They aren't eaten by luminox due to how fast they fly away but while in the air they don't stay fast for long and young (___)s can be easily eaten by wyvocots. To reproduce, adult (___)s grow glowing eggs on their tail that are eaten after they hatch.
