Greetings! ✦
1st of all, this is my first time making a guide, and English isn't my first language so i'm deeply feel sorry if this guide lacks. Even so, i really love this game and will try my best to describe the neccessary thing about completing Mistria's museum in this exact guide.

✦Reading Directions✦

  • All explanations in this guide are in the order of things in the picture starting from left to right
  • The first chapter is Flora Section including 85 collectible museum crops, flowers, and forageables
  • The second chapter is Archeology Section including 99 (97 currently available in V0.14.0) collectible museum materials, artifacts, and treasures
  • The third chapter is Fish Section including 94 collectible museum fishes and water biomes
  • Lastly, the fourth chapter is Insect Section including 70 collectible museum insects
  • This guide also include some tips which I hope can help other player in completing the museum, so please make sure to read it if you want! ^^

✦Something to Know✦

Before proceeding to read the guide, there are a few things that new players might want to understand first to make the process easier.

1. Museum-Related Statues and Perks ✦

Here in Fields of Mistria, you will get a cutscene of finding the first statue of Caldarus eventually
.
After that, doing any works like breaking stones (most efficient), chopping trees, etc will sometimes gives you a purple drop thing called essence. Head to Caldarus Statue shown above an press Ctrl button (by default) so you can trade essences with so many cool perks, including the perks that much needed in clearing all museum donation list.
.
When you've reached town level 10 and doing some tasks given, you can also go to the mine and unlocks another perks in another dragon statue there.
.
.
2. Weather ✦

Some types of weather will appear day by day in Mistria as the wiki shown below
.
it's important to know the difference, like between rain and storm, between snowy and blizzard, etc, if you want to complete museum donation list as weather sometimes being the spawn requirement.

3. Possible Game Crashes ✦

in this early access, you will get to experience crashes by doing things like opening menu tab or changing location in very fast manner, so it is best to always save your progress before it happens.

Now, here's the main guide ^ ^
! Latest Update Board: V0.14.0. Mist Artifact Set
Since 21st of July 2025, along with another V0.14.0 new contents, the game adds "Mist Artifact Set" for the museum donation list, specifically in archeology section. This new artifact set adds to the total number of artifacts that can be donated in the archeology section, from 95 (93 available) before to 99 (97 available) after the update.

How to Get the Mist Artifact Set

V0.14.0 raise skill level limit from 45 to 60 and brings some new perks with the update. Lv.60 Archeology, in this case, allowing player to enable the "Mist Sight" perk.

After enabling the "Mist Sight", a pink mist will spawn once daily anywhere around mistria. Any Interaction with this pink mist will spend 10 essences then give you one of five available mist artifacts.

Mist Artifact Set List

like any other usual artifact sets, the Mist Artifact Set contain five different artifacts, listed as below:
  • Mist Crystal (Uncommon)
  • Mist Flute (Rare)
  • Mist Scroll (Rare)

  • Misty Feather Quill (Uncommon)

if you donate all five, you will get golden chest, obelisk, and obelisk crafting recipe from the museum

⸙ I. Flora Section: Introduction and Something to Know 𓇢𓆸
Let's start! ^ ^
This flora section contains crops, flowers, and forageables that can be donated to fulfil donation box in Mistria Museum. There are several points that are best to be aware of before attempting to fulfil it:
  • Collecting all the flora is not as difficult as other donation sections in the museum, but some people will be confused because the spawn form in the overworld may be different from the form obtained after harvesting it, so I will also try to show what the original form looked like before being harvested in this guide.
  • The flora spawn in this game changes based on the change of day and will not change based on the change of location like the fish and insect spawn.
  • What makes this section even easier is that almost every single flora in this museum list (except from Upper Mines, Tide Caverns, and Deep Earth Set) can be obtained from Balor's Wagon.
Balor's Wagon

.
✎ Information:
This wagon will always be present in the southern part of Mistria (north of your farm) and sells items that change in variety every day. All seasonal crops, flowers, and forageables are sold at this wagon from time to time, so don't miss it if you find it too difficult to search for them yourself or just want to collect more items quickly using some tesserae. Here's the location if you're having trouble:

.

That's it. Let's talk about the Flora Collectibles now ^ ^

𐙚₊ II. Archeology Section: Introduction and Something to Know ⛏
Now to the Archeology Section!
This archeology section contains materials, artifacts, treasures, and perfect mine drops that can be donated to fulfil donation box in Mistria Museum. There are several points that are best to be aware of before attempting to fulfil it too:

  • Collecting all archeology items feels harder than previous flora section because it is RNG luck based and sometimes will leave you with some dupe and unfinished list.
  • Archeology items can be obtained by various methods including digging the dig spot, diving in the dive spot, fishing by fishing rod, and breaking nodes. Here's the base knowledge required:

Dig Spots
.
dig spots are the objects where most artifacts spawn. it looks like a small hole among other ground and appear like this in some contexts:

by shovel (you can buy it in General Store if you haven't), you can dig in the dig spots and sometimes doing that will give you site material like peat, sod, etc, or if you're lucky, a rare artifact. For your information, the tier of shovel do not affect what comes from the dig spots, so it doesn't matter if you want to use worn, copper, iron, or even silver shovel.
.
Dive Spots
.
unlike dig spots, dive spots appear in the water and you can get items by diving into it (jump into the water and press interact button near it). There's a tier 1 archeology perk named "Sunken Secret" that will give you an opportunity of getting artifacts in the dive spots too
.
Fishing Artifacts with the Fishing Rod
.
there's a tier 1 fishing perk named "Aquatic Antiquities" you need to unlock for the sake of getting aquatic set of artifacts by fishing with the fishing rod. You wont miss it, especially if you're aiming for the fish museum section too, since leveling the fish skill automatically will give you lot of opportunities to finish this set of archeology artifact.

.
Getting Artifacts by Casually Breaking Stones and Nodes
.
if you want to be surprised with the appearance of artifacts while doing your casual mining responbility, you have to unlock tier 2 archeology perk named "Stoneturner". This perk will give you much better chance of filling your museum list.

.
✎ Unidentified Artifact:
If you by any chance get an artifact that you have never gotten before, it will spawn with an ‘unidentified artifact’ form like this:
.
.
you have to identify it by pressing the interact button in order to reveal the real form of what artifact you got. You can also keep it as is, but it will only make your storage/bag full, and will give you disappointment later by hoping it all a different artifact ^ ^

Lastly, here's list of perks that will unlock or boost your way of getting archeology artifacts:

𐙚₊ II. Archeology 𓁈: Tips Especially for Sunken and Ritual Artifacts ⛏
Sometimes player will find it difficult to fulfil the sunken artifact set and ritual artifact set as both require greater RNG luck than the others. Worry not, there's a way to trick the system in order to meet the spawn requirement as below:

✦ Unyielding Way to Obtain the Sunken Artifact Set ✦

Before attempting to get some sunken artifacts, what you need to do first is to find the dive spot. Unfortunately, dive spot is a rare—or at least uncommon—spawn around any other area in Mistria. Except for the beach, that is.

.
Beach is the only area where you can easily find three or more dive spots in the eastern and southern part of it. However there's another unfortunate thing. You can obtain more variety of loot from beach dive spot other than artifact including clam, pearl clam, seaweed, glass, fish, fiber, and wood. The landscape and obstacle of height difference between beach ground and its sea also makes it hard for you to come back for another try via changing location (since dive spots change based on location change). So it is a great opportunity to search for sunken artifacts unlimitedly, but please expect that most of the time your attempt will result on something like this:

.
and if you didn't get your target sunken artifacts, please know that you can always choose to sleep and try another day, or to reload by the main menu ;)

✦ Better Chance to Obtain the Ritual Artifact Set ✦

Before attempting to get some ritual artifacts, you need to unlock tier 4 mining perk named "Lost to History" and find the ritual chamber by moving between floors on mine. Some people struggle because they can go from floor 1 to floor 30 without finding the chamber. So here's the trick. Rather than try a hard way by consistently moving floor and have to find the stair in each one, you can just choose to go with mine elevator and reach 25th or 30th floor, then proceed to move one floor down. 25th and 30th floor will always be the same and have a smaller area so that you can fastly find a way down by breaking minimal amount of stones. If you can't find the chamber, proceed to leave the mine and go back to floor 25 or 30 and repeat the same method.

Floor 25/30 > Find the stair > Move down > No chamber? Back to the entrance > Repeat

.
That way, it will be more efficient. You can at least enter one ritual chamber every day by doing the exact trick. It will takes a lot of stamina if you're kinda unlucky though ...

✦ Reload for Specific Artifact ✦

Another thing to note is that dig spot in each day will always be in exact same place, but will give you different item based on different attempt in every single try. Therefore if you're looking for area-specific artifact or maybe vintage farm tool set on your lovely farm, you can always reload your save file and give another try to get what you want ✦✦✦
𓆝 𓆟 III. Fishing Frenzy: Introduction and Something to Know ₊˚.༄
Third, Fish Section 𓆝 𓆟
This section contains all fish including legendary one that can be donated to fulfil donation box in Mistria Museum. There are several points that are best to be aware of before attempting to fulfil it too:

  • Collecting all fish is also RNG luck based and sometimes will leave you with some dupe
  • While Flora and Archeology Section only have place and perk requirements, some of fishes in this section will need specific time and weather requirements too
  • All fish can be obtained by various methods including fishing by fishing rod as the main, diving in the dive spot, and swim through a fish swarm.
  • You will not getting any fishing rod by quest, buy it in Beach fishing shop, or make it by blacksmithing some ingots.
  • Here's the base knowledge required:

✦ Type of Fish's Shadow ✦

.
Shown above, there are different types of fish's shadow, with giant spawn and fish swarm as the most rare thing to find. Please note that every single fish has its own respective shadow, and you can't expect to get small fish in big shadow, giant fish in small shadow, or whatever it is that didn't match!

✦ Area of Fish Spawn ✦

Now in Fields of Mistria, there are four types of fish spawn area:
  • I. River: South of Farm, Around Mistria, South and West of Sweetwater Farm, Around The Narrows, West of Western Ruin, and North of Eastern Road, basically any blue water area that have a long shape and sometimes bridge on top of it
  • II. Pond: South and Middle of Eastern Road, and Left Side of Mistria Manor North of Town
  • III. Ocean: Any water area on Beach
  • IV. Mine Stream: Any water area on Mine (Divided by Floor 1-19, Floor 21-39, Floor 41-59, and Floor 61-79)

✦ Fishing Rod Upgrade ✦

While the tier of fishing rod do not affect what comes by fishing, it is helpful to extend its range so that you wont wait forever just for a fish to approach your bait. Please get yourself silver fishing rod that have 12 range if you can for that reason.

✦ Change of Fish Spawn ✦

Lastly, please know that fish spawn will change based on location change, so you can move from one area to another and repeat it until you get the shadow you're looking for! Now let's the fishing frenzy begin ✦✦✦

𓆝 𓆟 III. Fish Part 3: The Four Horsemen of Legendary Fish ₊˚.༄
Currently in Fields of Mistria Early Access, four legendary fishes with one representative every season can be obtained and donated to the museum. Each legendary fish has its own spawn requirements that are quite specific and can be missed. Here's something to know before you attempt to catch the legendaries:

✦ Legendary Fish Perk Requirement ✦
.
You have to unlock tier 3 fishing perk named "Legendary" in fishing skill level 30+ before attempting to catch legendary fishes. If this condition haven't been met, doing so will result in just many normal and rare fish spawn, plus disappointment. This condition that you have to reach fishing level 30+ is not an easy task to do, and will take around 3-6 seasons of grinding.

✦ Legendary Fish Spawn Notification ✦

Fortunately, unlocking the "Legendary" fishing perk will also give you notification of legendary fish spawn whenever the other requirements have been met. The notification will appear after you sleep just before you start another adventurous day.

✦ A Thing That Might Go Wrong ✦

Please take note that currently you can only caught one for each legendary fish in a playthrough, so don't ever dump it or something like that. But if you accidently do so, you must reload the save file before the hunt.

✦ Each Legendary Fish Spawn Requirements ✦
.
.
✦ 1. Spring's Cherry Fish ✦
.
Season: Spring
Weather: Cherry Blossom Breeze
Time: Any time, more common before 3 PM
Location: Any pond, more common in Eastern Road's large pond

✦ 2. Summer's Lightning Fish ✦
.
Season: Summer
Weather: Storm/Thunderstorm
Time: Any time, more common before 3 PM
Location: Any river, more common in The Narrows below Errol's house

✦ 3. Fall's Leaf Fish ✦
.
Season: Fall
Weather: Falling Leaves Breeze
Time: Any time, more common before 3 PM
Location: Any river, more common in Eastern Road's river

✦ 4. Winter's Snow Fish ✦
.
Season: Winter
Weather: Snowy/Blizzard
Time: Any time, more common before 3 PM
Location: Any part of the ocean, more common in western part of beach

✦ Legendary Fish Through Fish Swarm ✦

Lastly, it is possible to catch legendary fish by swimming through fish swarm in its respective area and weather requirements. That's all about fishing part of museum!
𓆤⭒ᨒ 𓍢ִ໋🀦 - IV. Insect Hunt: Introduction and Something to Know ⭒𓆣⭒
Welcome to the fourth, Insect Section~ 𓆤
This section contains all insect including legendary one that can be donated to fulfil donation box in Mistria Museum. There are several points that are best to be aware of before attempting to fulfil it too:

  • Collecting all insect is also RNG luck based and really really really harder than collecting artifact and fish for the museum
  • Like the fish section, the insect in this section will need specific place, time, and weather requirements that are quite distinct
  • All insect can be caught by net which you first got from Luc, and the tier of net is purely just for aesthetic so it didn't affect any spawn rate whatsoever.
  • Insect spawn change based on location change so that you will be able to go between one area to another in order to restart insect spawn.
  • Some insects also available in Balor's Wagon, but only the common or uncommon one so it didn't really help on completing museum list

That's it, let's the insect hunt begin!

𓆤⭒ᨒ 𓍢ִ໋🀦 - IV. Insect Part 3: Legendary Insects ⭒𓆣⭒
Currently in Fields of Mistria Early Access, five legendary insects with one representative legendary every season and one multiseasonal legendary can be obtained and donated to the museum. Each legendary insects has its own spawn requirements that are quite specific and can be missed too. Here's something to know before you attempt to catch the legendaries:

✦ Legendary Insect Perk Boost✦
.
Believe me, searching for legendary insect spawn is a thing that needs a lot of effort, attention, and patience as the spawn rate is very low. However, there seems to be a tier 4 farming perk named "Perfect Pollinators" that supposedly can increase the ridiculous spawn rate
.
For me though, it feels like the only spawn that got boosted by that perk is the spawn of speedy snail, as i got freakin 5 of them, one whenever i search for other legendary insects. It is a good perk to unlock when you have the essence, still :)

✦ Legendary Insect Spawn Didn't Have Any Notification ✦

Unfortunately, different from legendary fishes, you will not get any notification of legendary insect spawn. This is the reason many player feels like being gaslighted by the forum or even the game itself about the legendary insect actual in-game existance. Worry not, it's real. Just really hard for the insects to grace us with their legendary presence ╥ ╥ Other than that, it is possible to catch many dupe legendary insects if you have the willpower.

✦ Legendary Insect Set Requirement ✦
.
.
1. Fall's Fairy Bee

  • Spawn Location: Anywhere around mistria, most common at Sweetwater Farm (i got it at the Beach, tho)

  • Spawn Weather: Sunny/Cherry Blossom Breeze

✦ Legendary Insect Hunt Tips ✦

✦ While hunting insects especially the legendary one, you may want to consider having a bigger zoomed out frame. You can do that by these steps:
        • Open Menu
        • Open Settings
        • Choose Display
        • Change In-Game Scale to x2 or x1
          .
Depending on your own eyesight, doing that will give you much better vision whether there's the target insect in your area or not without having to search manually by walking around

✦ isn't it nice having weather particle feature in the game? that breeze of falling petals, leaves, and snow will make it easier to immerse in the game-world. However, in my case that feature also distract my eyesight from finding the insects. Therefore, I, and maybe you too, can temporarily stop the weather particle feature by doing these steps:

        • Open Menu
        • Open Settings
        • Choose Accessibility
        • Change Weather Particle Strength to None
          .
✦ Lastly, in my own opinion and based on my experience, it is best to search for legendary insects by moving location between Sweetwater Farm (most common spawn that have smaller area) and beach (smaller area than the narrows and player farm too), so that player can inspect whole location without having to walk around effortfully. That may be my own lucky location, but i got 4 legendary insects in the Beach, after all ✦✦✦

Hi, for information, I got a Perfect Emerald from a normal Emerald node (not a perfect node). So all the perfect gems should be able to drop form their normal node.

Hi! I’m not sure if you can edit this or not but I noticed for the Prehistoric Artifact Set it’s the same photo as the Dig Site Material Set.

Anyone else having trouble with the ritual artifacts, I need 2 more but can't seem to get them no matter how long I spend grinding 25-30

Tyvm all for reading this guide! Glad to know that it can be useful ^^ indeed i agree about the bug hunting feature, and singing katydid is as hard to encounter. I found 3 singing katydids after such a long time grind, 3 of them being in the Caldarus temple entrance, around the trees, 1 just wandering around in the ground, and somehow i got 2 by shaking some trees, idk if that will help tho ...
Moriloke 17 Mar @ 9:49am
Bug hunting is definitely the most boring and frustrating part of the game so far.
I have found two legendary spring bugs in the deep forest, but the Singing Katydid is still yet to be found ... And I need two of them, since Luc decided that torture was an acceptable request.

Thanks a lot for this well made guide, with useful tips !

thank you for this! it's super useful ♥
the moon fruit can also be found in the sweetwater farm!
