As unusual as it may sound, Joker actually requested clearance to land his craft near the GMHP's premises and explicitly subjected his body to the enhancement procedure...because he had lost a bet. He seems to be a good-natured individual with an innate inability to hold grudges.
Dr.Burke's personal notes:
"This guy is just incurable. I asked him to keep his voice down and he instantly replied he didn't even know I had a voice to keep down. I actually had to leave the room to maintain a serious posture. I'll miss his refreshing attitude once he'd leave us."
