Why you should leave it as defualt
The reason why you should leave this as default is because the game is alpha and the purpose of the limits specailly the pcu is so everyone on the same test bed and you changing the settings will make any your crashes could cause your data to be corrupted for the test.
Where to find the files
in your steam library right click Space engineers go down to proprieties then in proprieties select Installed Files and then press the browse button.

then goto "GameData\Vanilla\Content\System\Configurations"
Changing the PCU
find the file called PCUSessionComponentConfiguration.def open with a text editor then change the value MaxGlobalPCU to what ever you want the limit seams to be 999999999 any higher then this and you will not be able to load into a world.
Changing speed limit
find the file called PhysicsSessionConfiguration.def and open it with a text editor.

"MaximumSpeedLinear" changes the grid speed limit
"MaximumCharacterSpeedLinear" changes the character max speed limit

I have yet to test if there is a limit before you cant load into the world but presume there is one.

Thank you for this, I'm sure the devs will allow us to remove the limits once they release more into the game.

For the max PCU, you can disable PCU using this plugin. https://se2.yellow51.dev/?sdm_process_download=1&download_id=77

Oh, and of course don't report bugs in the Keen Forum, when it is caused from this modding. Make sure this bug exists in vanilla as well, then you can report it.

Keep in mind, that SE2 sends crash reports to the developer. If the games crash because of modding the game in a way it is not intended, it results in a bugs reports which rarely really help the developers as it is not on there list yet to fix such stuff that is no problem at all with a unmodded SE2.

So if you do it, block SE2 from using your internet connection. That should avoid to send unwanted bug reports.
