We all know act 1 is impossible to defeat, it has so many stuff to do, by the moment you finish them your friends got the game, and they also want to get into trying all the side quests in the first act since they didn't experience them before, and yada yada you always somehow never get past the forest and the underworld, ending up accumulating 1K hours without experiencing anything new in your playtime afterwards.

This is a mostly joke-ish guide and will also contain a good chunk of spoilers for the story of the game. Do not read it if you wish to experience the stuff mentioned by yourself.

Besides that, english is not my main language so expect a lot of grammar errors.

That being said, enjoy this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ guide that took more time than i would like to admit.

Tutorial (bain of my existence)

This is the only part where most people actually want to get over with. Just get out of here and optionally if you have the steel balls of a mexican bull rider then get the fiery sword of the big devil guy.

Initial landing

After landing in the end of the tutorial, you will start to realize even the start will get you side tracked to oblivion.

That being said. The moment you touch the ground follow these simple steps:

Only get the companions you need to fight, and obviously the one you wanna shag afterwards. Screw the rest let them rot or get them anywhere but your camp. I know the unheard voicelines and lore will make it tempting not to follow this step, but remember why you started reading this guide in the first place.
Kill anything that goes to your path for the main quest. Get only to the side quests if you want a specific item or XP depending on your difficulty and skill issue. Going anywhere else will end you up wasting time again and ending in the loop.
Make some interactions you've done a million times faster with mods and remove them afterwards in act 2. I know you rascal is already ready with googling the effects of each voice line you choose and the cost of your actions, so at least make your time easier and download mods that show the affection status for each line.
Hold the urge to do that single quest that will affect the outcome of a small group of people you will not see later, as bad as their doom could be without your help.
The faster you finish your job in this hellhole the earlier you will manage to finally see the content you were missing for so long now.

Other motivators:

You cannot bag the game's twink mascot Astarion. You cannot clap Karlach's cheeks without burning while reaching her pubic hair. Shadowheart will stay in only a situationship with you.

You do NOT want to make your gameplay THAT immersive to the point it gets relatable with your irl dating life. Consider your choices and try to move up that ladder called act 2 so you can finally touch them.
