Are the cosmetic flavor text changes and similar ones optional?

Basically, I want to make a medieval/fantasy play-through, and I want to take advantage of the Overlap removal improvements from this mod, but I want to still have the fantastical angle to the content.

@ferny I think what they're asking is if you use this mod and Alpha Mythology WITHOUT Medieval Overhaul, will this still remove AM's griffon?

@San-Kyu I don't understand the question, but basically just read the description. Its like "when this mod is used alongside this mod, then execute overlap function"

When it comes to your progression mods, do you have to have the mods where its said you remove overlap? Like for this one in particular, do you need to have Alpha Mythology or the other mods alongside it for it to have any content on its own?
