💡 Introduction & Basics 💡
Your Helmet / Hud
  • Blood Meter - Acts as your Main Health.
    it slowly decreases over time ( depends on your blood "Itself".)


  • 02 Meter - Acts as your Stamina.
  • Can´t Run or Double jump / Ledge grab without it.
  • Can Upgrade to cause Slow motion when "Overloading". ( the smaller meter next to it ).

  • Food Meter - it slowly decreases over time.
  • Act´s as your counterpart for Health.
  • Eat Food to Use Blood Efficiently & Keep your 02 Regeneration High.

Each of those can be carried up to X* Amount is Based on Difficulty for instant use.


Movement

  • Leaning - Your Bread and Butter if you want to survive some encounters in this game.
    use Q or E to lean around in order to kill Enemy´s before they see you.

  • Double Jumping - Can cover enorm distances.
    but also can cause death because you overshoot your target spot.
    it´s pretty floaty and will take some time to get used to.

  • Ledge Grabbing - Can be used to grab legdes (duh) , doesn´t always work though ...

  • Sprint / Kick - "Pressing" the button will Kick.
    "Holding" it will sprint.
    ( This costs meter even when standing still ! )
    The Kick Can be used to Kick Axe´s & Enemy´s. ( Should only be used on Blobs mostly ).

  • Crouch - well,makes you crouch. ( Use at certain area to ignore shots completely ).

  • Climbing Ladders -
  • Use Jump to Climb Ladders.
❗❗ Choosing Your Difficulty ❗❗


WARNING
Choosing to play this map by the cheat menu can cause issues with your current save !!

When "Starting" the Game you will be greeted with a Quake Like choosing of difficulty.

Easy - Well, the route for absolute begginers, i didn´t even try it.

Medium - My First choice of Difficulty for 1st time.

Zealot - Should Only be chosen when played through the game at least once on Medium.


Note - You can adjust difficulty settings in the Options , But ONLY For the Difficulty chosen.

Note 2 - Most of this Guide has been written when i played Medium. On Zealot Enemy´s Obviously do More Damage (Duh) , But also your Extra Live Count is Lower (4️⃣) .
💠 How "Saving" Works 💠


  • First Appearance E1 M3 "The Hallway" Right at the Start.

  • This is your "Checkpoint" , it Must be "Activated", Otherwise you Restart the level when you Die !

  • The "Shield" are your Extra Lives.

  • Life´s are capped by Difficulty.

  • Waste all your Extra Lives in a Level and You have to Restart.
🔫 Weapons 🔫
  • Durabilty / Quality - "Almost" all weapons have 100% in usage meaning they more you use it , it will get Jammed more often. Becomes Useless if it Reaches 0% This will problably only happen with the Forgiver as you will find enough of all other Weapons through your journey making this feature kind of pointless
  • ^ Can Be Disabled in the Game Preferences ( Jam - Off )

  • Bullet Arching - Bullets from all "Normal" guns do act kind of physical and will arch down on Certain distances. takes some time to get used to.

  • Reloading - Meta Magnum , Blunderbuss , & Shockhammer Load Single Bullets, meaning you have to use reload for Each Bullet.
    This will cause panic and confusion at first , but you will get used to it.

    NOTE : Some Guns don´t work with "Alternative Reload" so you have to press R .


  • Zooming - All Guns zoom on Right Click Except Dual Flachette & Detonator


  • Alternate Fire - "All" Guns can use different special ammo.
  • (Uses "Granades" or "Energy Cell") .
    Middle mouse wheel Click .


  • Alternative Mode - Some guns have an Alternative Mode by Pressing V.





Rating
S - Superb, Should be used as much as Possible.
A - Awsome , Should be used often.
B - Good, But Has Downsides.
C / D - Decent, But Many Downsides
+/- - In Between Placement.

HS = Head Shots

  • Forgiver
  • The Only Melee Weapon besides the kick. Short range but pretty High Damage.
  • NEED 02 TO SWING !
  • ^ [Swift swing Upgrade] - Adds attack on Middle mouse key.
  • Doesn´t seem to make any difference, unless you have enough gold, Don´t buy it.
  • Solid B+


  • Meta-Magnum
  • Holds 7 Shots. can be upgraded to 13.
  • Kills "Normal" Enemy´s on HS. Kills Turrets or Robots with 3-4 Shots.
  • Depends on Devotion and Difficulty .
  • Alt - Fire - Shoots Granades which explode on impact.
  • Burst Shot upgrade - Can upgrade to 2x or 3x.i say, Don´t Buy It!
  • Overall Solid A+ .


  • Auto Rifle
  • This will be your Carry Weapon through the Game pretty much the whole time.
  • Holds 51 Bullets which work like The Magnum in terms of Damage.
  • Alt-Fire : Shoots a Ray of Devestating Energy Cell.
  • ^ This doesn´t work good on "Most" Metallic enemy´s such as Turrets or similiar.
  • Human Enemy´s will just get Obliterated !
  • Simple S+.


  • Blunderbuss
  • Should only be used when your enemy is Pretty much "in your face" in distance.
  • BIG Spread but also pretty High Damage.
  • Holds 8 Single Shots.
  • Alt - Fire : Shoots "ONE" bullet which Explodes.
  • Can Penetrate Multiple Enemie´s With Upgrade.
  • Overall C-


  • Shockhammer
  • A Much Better version of the Blunderbuss. not much to say.
  • B+.


  • Chaingun
  • Holds 100 Rounds of Chaingun Ammo which don´t fly as far. Can be Upgraded to 200 or ∞Infinite .
  • Alt - Fire - Shoots a path of Flames. I never really used this.
  • Alt - Mode - Toggle Between "Slow" & Fast !! . I never used Fast Mode aside from Bosses.
  • Solid A+


  • Flachette SMG / Dual
  • Holds 70 Rounds Each. Fires faster than Rifle.
  • Longest Reload Animation, ESPECIALLY When Dual Wielding.
  • Dual Wielding
  • ^ Left / Right Click to shoot each Gun Individually.
  • My most unused Weapon...
  • C-

  • SSM
  • A single shot Rocket Launcher.
  • Can Have 10 Rockets.
  • Should Only be used Against BIG Enemy´s or Hordes.
  • Only reloads with R .
  • A+.


  • FLASH
  • A "4 Shot" Rocket Launcher.
  • A+


  • Whalegun
  • Aka The Sniper. Holds 6 High Damage rounds per Magazine.
  • Alt - Fire - Toggles Zooming Rates Between 2x / 4x / 8x .
  • Alt - Mode - Fires Explosive Shots.
  • Can Upgrade with Oxgen-Overloading to Cause Slow Motion.
  • Solid S+ .


  • Remote Detonator
  • Can Hold Up to 20 of HIGH Damage Explosives.
  • Should Only be used Against BIG Enemy´s or Hordes.
  • Left Click - Throw
  • Alt - Fire - Detonate
  • A Booming S+


  • Laser Designator
  • Call an airstrike to designated location.
  • Can´t be used in a closed area.
  • Very Rarely usable !
  • A+


  • Zeus Cannon
  • Shoots Energy Balls which kill most enemy´s with 1 Shot.
  • Holds 20 Shots.
  • Alt - Fire - "Quick" hold shoots 2 / 3 Balls. "Long" Hold shoots a Massive Explosion.
  • ^ Uses 6 Ammo &10% Durability on Full Charge.
  • A solid A+


  • Redeemer
  • The Powerhouse of all guns , kills Normal enemy´s with a single shot.
  • Triple shots should be used against BIG Enemy´s.
  • Left Click - Triple shot .
  • Alt -Fire - Single shot .
  • SUPER S+++

  • Granades
  • Can Carry up to 20 Timed granades which explode after a few seconds.
  • Can be thrown "inside" walls in certain situations.
  • Explosion goes Through Walls & Doors .
  • A lovely S+ .


Special Weapons

  • Hyper Blaster - 240 rounds Of Energy Balls which Deal Massive Damage to almost anything.
  • Must Press F to Use (Pick Up).
  • Becomes Useless when Ammo is 0.
  • Alternative Fire sux, DON´T USE IT !
  • S+++

  • Heavy Bolter - 600 rounds Of High Velocity Minigun Rounds. A real Killer !
  • Must Press F to Use (Pick Up).
  • Becomes Useless when Ammo is 0.
  • Alternate Fire is apparently even FASTER !
  • S+++

🤖 The Mech Suit 🤖
Small explanation on how to use the Mech suit.
First obtained in E2 M2


  • Using it - Press F to get in or Out.
  • Fire Modes ->
  • Left Click - 500 Rounds : Autocannon
  • Middle Mouse - 2000 Rounds : Gastgun
  • G - 40 Rounds : Rockets
  • Jumpjet - Acts as your Run & Float
  • Armor - Mech HP
  • Stomping - Alternatively stomp on Enemy´s
👾 Enemy´s 👾
Getting Spotted
- *Soldier´s will make a "walkie talkie" noise when they notice you and will try to find you.



  • Spikes / Lava / Void 🎍🔥🕳️ -
  • Stage Hazard that Kills you Instantly !




  • Black Blob -
  • First apparance is Stationary. Later they can move around.
  • only does 1 Damage & die´s with a Kick
  • Never a threat, even in the Infested Catacombs or maps where they appear in Mass.
  • Unless they crash your Game...




  • Red Soldier -
  • Throws 1 or 3 Rather slow Axes towards you.
  • The axes are visible on the Radar.
  • The axes can be shot.
  • They Die pretty easily with any Gun , 1 Granade or 2 - 3 Kicks.
  • Only a threat when multiple gang up on you.




  • Brown Bomber Soldiers -
  • They will explode when they make a "Fuse" sound & coming towards you, or on Body Shots!.
  • HS will leave their corpse around which can be kicked around to explode other Enemy´s.
  • Sometimes Throws Granade´s towards you.
  • Only a threat when you stand directly in the Explosion.




  • Black Armored *Soldier -
  • Wields an Auto Rifle. Definetily a Threat when not evading their shots. Die´s on HS.
  • Can take a "bit" more Damage than Shotgun Soldiers.




  • Black Armored Minigun Turret *Soldier -
  • Sits behind a Minigun. Same as above otherwise.




  • Shotgun *Soldier -
  • Wields a shotgun which can deal a good chunk of damage when near you.
  • They Die pretty easily with any Gun , 1 Granade or 2 - 3 Kicks.
  • Can be a threat when not evading their shotguns.




  • "Elite" Soldier -
  • Wears a Red Cape & Energy Ball Guns.
  • Take the most Damage out of the Soldier´s.
  • Easy to kill with The Auto Rifle Laser.



  • The Orange Astronaut
  • Wields a Flamethrower.
  • Massive Life in comparison to all other Enemy´s (Think of it as a small Tank).
  • Get´s Stun locked when Facing your Auto Rifle Laser. ( Aim Between his Legs ).
  • Only a Threat in Close distance.




  • Energy Ball Turret -
  • Shoot´s multiple Energy balls towards you which do Huge damage.
  • Needs 3 Shots from The Magnum or Rifle to Die.
  • A threat when you forget where their location is.


  • Yellow Float Bot -
  • Shoots single Energy balls.
  • Needs 3 Shots from The Magnum or Rifle to Die.
  • A threat when you don´t kill or evade.
  • IMMUNE TO REDEEMER !!!



  • Red Float Bot -
  • Shoot´s multiple Double Energy balls towards you which do Huge damage.
  • otherwise same as Yellow.
  • ( it get´s hit by the Redeemer at least )



  • TANK -
  • Well ... it´s a Fr!cking Tank
  • Deals Ton´s of Damage & Takes A Ton of Abuse too.
  • Weak to Rocket´s or BIG Explosions. ( 4 ) .


  • Enemy Mech -
  • Basically the same as the Tank.


  • Big Blue / Red Tank -
  • Shoots Energy balls & Explosives.
  • Only appears a few times.



  • Big Spaceship -
  • Shoots Devestating Miniguns.
  • Only Appears Twice.

✒️📜Otherwise Noteworthy Stuff📜✒️
Sinking City : Glitch where i clipped through the ladders and died because of the Lava.
Not sure "why exactly" but guess because i was crouching.


Mecha : Walking into the Mecha and trying to use it sometimes causes it to keep sliding around in the last direction pressed.

Mecha 2 : Mecha can get stuck in some areas making it unable to use. ( Mostly Stairs ).


Ledge Grab : Simply doesn´t work like it should which caused many unecessary deaths.


Minigun Glitch : mentioned in my review that this bug when reloading empty Minigun can cause you to not use any guns or the Mecha which is just a "game over".
^ EDIT : JUST THROW IT AWAY !!!!


The Chozo Statues : if you stand in them , you spin like crazy.


Some instances like Lysanders map where you can clip inside the map....
this needs to be done intentionally tho...


And the Game just tends to crash when it feels like it...

Thing I thought I should note while reading this, jamming and bullet drop are not enabled for me even when choosing the medium difficulty. Not sure if this is because I chose easy difficulty first and it just locked my settings into that preset or what

ah~ so it the 'Tab' for the helmet it look cool so I sometime try to do it sometime every finish mission and start mission it give the vibe of rest and ready for battle

- About kicking the axe ... i didn´t know that , but cool :leatherneck:
- Minigun soldier . well indirectly , they´re still fairly easy to deal with with whalegun or other Big calibers


- mecha has been noted in Otherwise Noteworthy stuff.
- Well THANKS for That info .... but DUH ... Of course ... i certainly will implement this.
- Equip the helmet for me is "tab" .... but why would you do that anyway...

Some stuff I don't see on the guide so I write here

-For the Red soldier Their Axe can be Kick away
-The minigun soldier hide behind the shield so basicly have to aim for head or basicly any expose from them or just bomb and rocket (or sniper)

Some Side note:
-The mech robot if you get out of it near a corner or a stair it will get stuck
-For stuck on minigun you can press J to throw away weapon (it gonna gone forever)
-I dunno if this really iz the Key to re-equip the helmet or not but I press double W iz she just take it out and wear it back (this from Unikey Viet) so it not the true button

@firandorv12 if you read , there is all you need explained during the Weapon´s & Basic´s section but "in short" "Don´t buy anything unless you´re sure you need it" like "swift swing" for forgiver. Or the Belt Upgrade for the Minigun which is "useless" once you get infinite. :culty:
