Description
This patch addresses Ubisoft's most questionable decision: releasing a region-locked version of the game, limited to the russian language for countries that are current or former members of the CIS organization.
Patching
  1. Copy the patch folder from archive into your Assassin's Creed Syndicate installation directory
  2. Open the copied folder and run patch.bat
  3. Wait for "PROCESS COMPLETE" message
  4. OPTIONAL: Run remove_intros.bat to remove intro videos
Restoring original files & intro videos
  1. Run restore.bat
  2. Wait for "PROCESS COMPLETE" message

LOKI the problem you may be encountering that I did aswell might be that you got the patch.bat file from the patch folder into the main directory of AC Syndicate. What you were meant to do is get the whole folder with patch.bat inside and place that in the main directory of the game. After that head inside the folder and run the file. Wait for it to be done when it says complet, but make sure that no errors come-up so that it's 100% sure that it works. after running patch.bat DONT run anything else just launch the game and problem is complete:steamhappy::steamhappy:

I'd do it if it would be easier. There is no localization files. Localization is packed inside large .forge file so uploading and keeping several gigabytes of patched data file in cloud is not feasible for me, sorry.

wouldnt it be easier to provide anyone with legit language files and localization files rather than provide a patch that could contain malware under people that have no clue on what they're doing

Petruwind, the errors you get before [DONE] message are exactly the reason why it's not working for you. Antivirus must have removed patcher binary called xdelta-3.1.0-x86_64.exe. Without this binary being located in the patch folder, it won't work. Try to extract it from archive again or download it from Github page (google it if needed)

the code says patching completed successfully anytime even if it didnt work

tudzer ill try to run it again but i lack localization files and i managed to get ahold of the english files but as i said nothing would work unless i get that folder

Petruwind, restore means unpatching back to original state, you should only run patch.bat if you want to apply changes, not undo them.

Ran both the patch.bat and restore.bat in the AC syndicate game main directory and nothing

hello Tudzer i have a small issue on my end. whenever i click the patch cmd doesnt recognize it as an internal or external command
