Introduction
Eldergleam- A Next Gen Modpack for Skyrim
A hand-picked collection of mods by Capt. Panda to turn your Skyrim into a next gen piece of art. The beauty of Eldergleam is it's 1500 mods and single install, making it accessible to those who have never even installed SKSE. If you love this modpack be sure to rate it up on the Nexus!
Installing the Eldergleam mod pack is easy, in this guide I can hopefully give you some additional tips I learned to help make your experience a little less painful, so with that:

Important things to note before getting started:
THIS PROCESS BECOMES EXTREMELY TEDIOUS IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A NEXUS PREMIUM ACCOUNT, EACH DOWNLOAD WILL HAVE TO BE MANUALLY APPROVED AND THERE IS OVER 1500 MODS. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU DO WHAT I DID AND PAY FOR A SINGLE MONTHS SUBSCRIPTION TO MAKE THIS PROCESS SEAMLESS, IT CAN STILL BE DONE WITHOUT THOUGH.
    • The total disk space I would recommend having free is 400GB, however 300GB may be fine.
    • This is a large modpack (210GB approx) and will take a while, be patient.
    • A Nexus account, either premium or free, is required for larger downloads, as such please make sure you have already created a Nexus Mods account.
    • If this guide seems over-complicated you can find video walkthrough's on YouTube.
    • Make sure you have launched Skyrim at least once since a fresh install and that you have downloaded all the Creation Club add-ons that come with Anniversary Edition
    • This modpack will remove the Creation Club from your main menu. Make sure you purchase/download any additional CC mods you want and enable them in the Load Order menu as there will be no way to change this once installed.
First Steps
It probably goes without saying, but in order to avoid compatibility and issues in general, a clean install of Skyrim is highly recommended. If you already have SKSE and your core ENB files, that's fine and won't affect the installation, equally, not having them will have no effect as they come part of the mod pack.

1) Head over to Nexus Mods and download the Eldergleam Modpack (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/105778)
I will be using the Full Creation Club content version, download yours accordingly

2) Head over to https://www.wabbajack.org/ and hit download
Downloading
3) Go to your Downloads folder (or wherever your downloads get saved to) and run 'Wabbajack.exe'
During the installation choose an install location, I've installed mine on my C Drive:

4) Drag your Eldergleam modpack download to the Wabbajack folder for easy access. I also renamed my folder to "Eldergleam Wabbajack File"

5) Run your newly installed Wabbajack tool, you should be greeted with this screen:

6) If you are not automatically prompted to login to your Nexus account, hit the cog in the top right to bring up the settings menu, from there you should see the only option in the top left is to Log in, logging into a Nexus account is a prerequisite for downloading larger mods.

7) Click 'Install from Disk' in the middle

8) On this screen there are 3 boxes at the bottom. The first box you want to make sure is going to your modpack, the one I renamed "Eldergleam Wabbajack file"
The second box is where you want Wabbajack to keep the mods it's about to download, I recommend keeping it on the same drive, I named mine SkyrimAEmodlistinstall
The final box is where the downloads will go. This is where the mods go before being installed, and once the installation is complete, you can delete this folder and I advise you do as it will be over 200GB in size. I named mine moddownloadsdeletewhendone as to avoid confusion.
DO NOT GET THE BOTTOM TWO BOXES MIXED UP. SHOULD YOU DELETE THE INSTALL FOLDER YOU MAY HAVE TO RE-DOWNLOAD EVERYTHING AGAIN

9) Click the play button in the bottom right and the download will begin. If you have a Premium account at this point you can go afk for a couple of hours, if not, you will have to manually download every mod, Wabbajack will send you to the Nexus page but it will do this for all of them, I imagine once you have downloaded them all you will be given a prompt to begin the install, however this is just a guess. You can find guides on Youtube to go through the process of installing with a free Nexus account.
Installation
That is essentially it, it's done!
You should have some buttons available to you in the bottom right, click "Install Folder"
From here, you can launch ModOrganiser.exe, this is how you are going to play Eldergleam, as the entire modpack is installed as a profile on MO. I recommend creating a shortcut for ModOrganiser.exe for your desktop.
Once in ModOrganiser you can just click 'Run' in the top right and it should be good to go!
Give it time on it's first launch to get everything loaded, don't assume it's frozen.
DONT FORGET TO DELETE YOUR DOWNLOADED MODS, NOT THE INSTALLED ONES!
As stated earlier, I can now delete the 'moddownloasdeletewhendone' folder I made earlier for my downloads and the other highlited folder 'SkyrimAEmodlistinstall' can be left alone, this is the folder ModOrganiser will access.
Additional Info

Eldergleam is a fantastic modpack, and designed with customisation in mind. It mostly consists of visual and effect overhauls, meaning you can add a multitude of your own mods without much compatibility issues, so long as they aren't things such as landscape textures, animations, weather etc.

ANYTHING YOU ADD TO ELDERGLEAM, NO MATTER HOW SMALL OR INSIGNIFICANT, SHOULD BE MOVED UP YOUR LOAD ORDER, IF THE PAPERMAPS, DYNDYLOD AND OCCLUSION PLUGINS AREN'T LOADED LAST YOUR MAP AND MARKERS WILL NOT FUNCTION CORRECTLY.
The highlighted plugins above must always be last (bottom) of your load order

Here's the mods I run alongside mine and haven't encountered any issues, I highly recommend;

New Legion
Sons of Skyrim
Skyrim at War
Sons of Skyrim+New Legion+Jarl Balgruufs Dilemma patch
Civil War Overhaul Redux
Jarl Balgruufs Dilemma

Imperials wear Centurion Armor

Okay so I got the game to run, now the question is how can I add a combat overhaul mod, such as "Blade and Blunt"? I downloaded the mod and brought it in to my mod organizer, but whenever I have it enabled the combat is still the same as before. I put Blade and Blunt down where the other combat related mods are and put it at the top of the load order

@Einhander I just had the very same issue. Install the Skyrim SE Creation Kit, start it up once then exit. Now retry the Eldergleam install and it should find the missing files and install the second half of the mod pack no problem. :)

Within the mod organizer I was trying to run the “Eldergleam” option. It has come to my attention that I may need to instead run the “SKSE” option. I also have been informed that I may need to give it a few minutes upon initial launch, to allow it to load all of the mods

I do have a premium nexus account. Had no issues downloading and installing the mods, just when I actually try to play the mod I get those two popups and nothing else happens

Hmm thats odd, Do you have a premium nexus account?

When clicking the ‘run’ button within the mod organizer, I get a popup along the lines of “the application needs to run to completion” and says ‘SkyrimSE.exe’. Then that popup disappears and another one pops up saying something like “file/access was edited and the application needs to restart for it to take effect” and then it closes and nothing opens. Any ideas how to fix this?

does anyone have free cc version of this?

I will update the guide as soon as I can go through the process again I don't currently have Skyrim installed, and using this pack will disable Steam Achievements, however a quick search on Nexus mods for the 'Achievements Mods Enabler' should fix this issue :)
