Faction: Steel Legion

“Did I mention that cold ironclads are just shells? Their insides are hollow! The soulless armor moves of its own accord to deal with intruders.”

Lore
One of the greatest creations of the god of art, Hellforn, these troopers are the backbone of the dungeon's defense. They are living iron armor, wearing hideous iron masks to conceal their hollow interiors. They are skilled in the use of iron weapons, and specialize in establishing a line of defense through their indefatigable health and defensive strength.

Gameplay
They are mostly good at blocking or deflecting opponents' attacks,
and can also boost the defense of nearby allies. Build a defense line, and give them the 'Stationed' command to blockade the street. Along with them, build allies who can form a powerful offense. Build Watchtowers, War Barracks, and more for additional defense bonuses.

Faction: Ashe Raiders
““Burn! Light up the darkness of the dungeon! Flames that cross the ignition point will turn purple and reduce enemies to ash in an instant.””

Lore
They are skilled practitioners of fire magic, mercilessly seizing intruders and casting them into the flames. They roam the dungeons with violet-burning torches, looking for opportunities to burn their foes. Their lightweight armor makes them agile, and the fire magic and weapons they wield bring powerful damage.

Game Style
Keeping them alive is a challenge, but with the right shields and The Monarch's blessing, they can unleash powerful attacks without missing a beat. Your strategy should be to quickly overwhelm your enemies with offense, even sacrificing ashe raiders’ HP.

Synergy Features
● When engaged with the enemy, at the start of the battle phase, you have a chance to lose 12% of your current HP and gain the effect of Ignite.
● The power of AshRaider cards increases by 30% at each step.

The personal color of this faction is a combination of purple and red. Generally, they are covering their faces with the purple hood. (to prevent to be burnt.)

Faction: Succubus
“For those who seek the riches and honor of the dungeon, the lure of pleasure is irresistible. Seduce them and absorb their energy. Draw them to our side.”

Lore
Bloodthirsty vampires, Sylvani elves addicted to tainted hedge magic, obsessed spirits possessing cursed bodies... they've all come together to become the embodiment of depravity, seeking pleasure and entertainment. There's only one place in the world that will take them: the dungeons of Hellforn. It is here that they seduce their poor prey and brainwash them into their servitude.

Game Style
They seduce weakened enemies and send them to jail, or turn them against their own people and bring them into the fold. The more traitors you have around, the more powerful they become. They are cunning and skilled at using their enemies against them. They have low health, so it's important to have a “bodyguard” ally who can keep up with them. You can use them to turn your enemies against you for money, to fund upgrades, or to use them against you.

Synergy Features
● Attack power and Speed increases based on the number of Renegade in the dungeon.
● The power of Succubus cards increases by 45% at each step.

Though weak in combat, they specialize in seducing and corrupting their enemies. If you want to create an abysmal arena where your enemies fight each other, or if you want to play the most unstable but most seductive game, turn to the succubi.

Collecting renegades from the enemies are the key to manage this faction.
The collected prisoners are also good for upgrades and earning golds.

This faction is well harmonized with Ash Raiders or Vampires.
Faction: Vampires
“I've heard that the Lair of Fiend is inhabited by a group of blood-addicted drows. Its windows glow red, its spires soar high, and vampire bats fly in swarms around them. To mask their horrific practices, they dress in the most aristocratic of garb.”

Lore
Blood-addicted vampires roam the battlefield, beating weaker opponents into submission. Mortals with blood in their presence begin to weaken, and if they are captured, they are enslaved and dragged around.

Game Style
They specialize in debuffing and weakening their enemies, absorbing their attacks and using them against them, and restoring their own HP while attacking them.

Use blood shields and vampirism to keep their attacks at bay.

Synergy Features
● Heal for a percentage of your damage when you attack.
● Has a chance to inflict [Obedience] debuff on an enemy.
● Skill has 33% chance to add 1 *Fresh Blood card to hand when used.
● The power of Vampire cards increases by 45% at each step.

Their dresses are all elegant inspired by Baroque fashion and Egyptian dresses. Basically they are using a red color, of course.

Faction: Beasts
“Beasts growl in the darkness, their eyes glowing as they stalk their prey. It's a good thing they're our friendly pets.”

Lore
The beasts in the dungeon, created through Hellforn's biological research, are more intelligent and seek out their prey. Their instinctive aggression and loyalty is a relief to the citizens and allies in the dungeon.

Game Style
They specialize in attacking weaker enemies first. They may attack multiple times, or they may attack the weaker enemies first to create a gap. Most weak invaders will heal or buff nearby allies, so it's important to take them down early. If you have a game that the enemy faction is diligently protecting, bring this beast in. It can make quick work of targets.

Synergy Features
● Deal additional damage to debuffed enemies.
● When engaged with the enemy, at the start of the battle phase, Recover a portion of your Max Health.
● The power of Beast cards increases by 50% at each step.

This faction is well harmonized with factions has many debuff skills like Vampires, Dawn Stalkers, or Worms.

Faction: Golem

“The fallen dwarves gave those horrible golems to the Fiend. Be careful not to be crushed by them. They are impenetrable to a few arrows!”

Lore
These monstrosities were created by dwarves by placing golem armor on magical vine plants that are powered by magic. They are sturdy defenders, and will dutifully perform their roles according to programmed commands.

Game Style
They can also be blessed with shields, and their heavy fists can stun enemies to disrupt their actions.
They are Stationed by default, requiring you to manually give them commands on a situational basis via other command cards.

Synergy Features
● Attacks have a chance to stun the target.
● The power of Golem cards increases by 55% at each step.

Heavily armored infantry made of living magical vines and thick metal. Slow but powerful, they kill charging invaders. Easily incapacitates enemies with their hard iron fists.

They are generally not mobilized but very powerful with stun debuff and high HP.
However, most of them take a big population cost, and low attack value.

Good combination with Rotten Roots (These golems are considerably living trees.) or magicians.

Faction: Rotten Roots

“The fallen dwarves gave those horrible golems to the Fiend. Be careful not to be crushed by them. They are impenetrable to a few arrows!”

Lore
Raised from the swamps, these damp beings seal enemies with tainted spore dust and vine roots. Tended to by the Swamp Ladies, the swamp ecosystem pledges allegiance to Hellforn and thrives here.

Game Style
They're usually associated with Flooded Zones, where they're agile in wet environments, and their cards burst spores that plunge enemies into multiple debuffs.

They should be used in conjunction with Water tiles to maximize their abilities.
In many cases, their cards are related to healing, so they don't die easily.

Synergy Features
● Gain the [Flexible] buff if the dungeon is in a Flooded Zone.
● Gain the [Grafting] buff equal to the number of adjacent tiles with Rotten Roots.
● The power of RottenRoots cards increases by 45% at each step.

Roots are a tangled web that will keep your enemies at bay - not just in the floors, but throughout the entire dungeon with the evil spirits of rotting wood.

They are living in a swamp, so all of them are wet and covered by goo. They are covered with suspicious spore plants or aquatic vegetation.

They fortify themselves and spread debuff to the opponents. They are strong on the flood zone.

Faction: Undead

“You know why they're terrible? Because they keep coming back to life after you kill them? No. It's because the person who fought so hard next to you becomes one of them and start approaching you.”

Lore
These are corpses reanimated by the Hellforn's powerful soul-binding powers. They are susceptible to insatiable hunger and emptiness, attack enemies, and have a high chance of being revived.

Game Style
Cards associated with them can also affect dead enemies, turning them into the undead, and they have self-destruct attacks with the intention of coming back to life.
When using them, it is an important strategy point to maximize all possibilities and chances of reviving them.

Synergy Features
● When unit dies, Has a chance to revive with 50% of Max health.
● The power of Undead cards increases by 50% at each step.

These giant insects have been bred in the blessings of Hellforn, incubated from giant eggs dried on thread, and leap at their enemies with long legs and agile movements. They grow stronger in large numbers, and evolve to become even more powerful individuals.

Game Style
To utilize them, you need to have a large number of them on the battlefield, so to maintain their power, you need to keep them as viable as possible. Try not to let their population dwindle.

Synergy Features
● Gain a Swarm effect equal to the number of Worms in the floor.
● If a tile has rotten roots, it gains a Camouflage effect.
● The power of Worm cards increases by 50% at each step.
[Swarm] Increases Attack and Defense.
[Camouflage] Increases Avoidance Rate.

These are those who have blind faith in The Monarch, thoroughly indoctrinated and worshiped, ready to jump into the fires of hell if The Monarch commands it.
They fervently perform rituals, praise, prayer, and artistic expression (often tinged with blood and madness) for Hellforn in hopes of pleasing The Monarch.

Game Style
They sacrifice their life force to generate offense, the effects of which affect all allies. Their sacrifices require careful strategy to ensure they are not wasted.

Synergy Features
● Increases the attack power of all allies.
● Gain the Desire for Martyrdom effect.
● The power of Fanatic cards increases by 50% at each step.
[Desire for Martyrdom] Attack power increases each time health is lost.
