Just wanted to share my mods I used that greatly helped with AFK fishing as well as getting hard to get fish.

Credit to the original mod creators they are amazing.

Feel free to check out the mods yourself for your own uses.
I used Thunderstore as I didn't understand the file method and everything worked fine.

GDWeave: Essential for most mods as many depend on it.

TackleBox: Makes a mod menu to help see and edit other mods, some mods also depend on this.

YAAM: What I mainly use for AFKing. Allows to set auto casting and what qualities you want to catch among some other features.

EventAlert: Shows a message in chat along with a time stamp when a void portal, rain cloud, or meteor naturally spawn in.

BlueberryWolfiAPIs: Assist with managing APIs

rainclouder: Lets you spawn a raincloud, similar to the one that the shower lure spawns, with a keybind.

FishingPlus: Gives a menu you can open with various notifications and status to assist. I mostly used it to notify when I got a specific fish I needed as well as what was rolled.

TenMinuteEnergy: Allows you to stack drink effects.

Ye, I didn't have any mods that increase meteor chance as I didn't need the fish much but the event alert greatly helps with notification when a meteor spawns.

For me, I still got achievements just fine but there is a picker like BBalakae said.

even if it does affect achievements, there is a steam achievement manager that can tweak your achievements, as in adding or subtracting said achievements. it is not at all bannable or any kind of threat to tos. achievements are purely visuals.
