Preface
A small guide for the Book of Heads. Contains the list of challenges, rewards for them, and where each enemy can be found.

◌ Some challenges have additional commentary next to them explaining how to complete them.


TL;DR rewards
◌ Mob challenges award Soul Cinders for tiers 1-2 and Corrupted Blood for tier 3.
◌ Boss challenges award Soul Cinders for tiers 1-2, Corrupted Blood for tiers 3-4 and a unique outfit for tier 5.
◌ Each challenge unlocks a bit of lore tied to that enemy.

I. Unlocking the Book of Heads
1. In the Hun's Camp find a caged npc, then bring him the requested item - which can be found in the same area.
2. After you return to the Oasis, you will find the very same npc - Nyamtur - chilling under the cliff where the Prince wakes up after each death. From now on, the Book of Heads will be available for you between runs.

III. Get a weapon with a longer range, like the Javelin. Stand in front of a pangolin and vault over it as soon as it starts rolling, then immediately hit attack. The Prince will strike it in the back as he lands.

Some achievements are bugged, devs are on it. Console versions take longer to patch than steam because of verification process.

Are these quests what grants the Apprentice and Master Anthropologist achievement? I've completed them all on PS5 for all mobs, but the achievement didn't appear. I started playing on Xbox to check, and it didn't appear either. Another thing I'm missing is the 9th Paachi medallion pack. Can anyone tell me what's missing?

For the shiled on the front, I used DOT. 20% to put poison on the enemy on the normal attack one to be specific.

There is a strategy for killing a giant with a sword by attacking from behind. Take a dagger with a chain, strike him several times until a mark appears and there is enough health left for 1 strike. The giant makes a series of two sword attacks. After the second attack, the second is important, jump behind him and perform a special attack.

I had completed most challenges back in early access before they were revamped, and my progress wasn't reset afterwards, so i can't help with stuff i haven't done, sorry.

@ Yuki
You need to be facing Baatar when kicking a bomb for it to hit him. Otherwise it'll just fly off-screen.

For Kaali, it seems that DoT and damage done by her summons does not count for certain challenges, the last hit has to be made with your main weapon.

oooor it's a bug, in this case i suggest making a report.

UPDATE: Yep, to those wondering, Whip-Dagger weapon actually did the trick.

Now it's just figuring out the Sword Giant...
