Gharner Light Tank

"An old but reliable light tank developed and used extensively during the Amaran Interplanetary wars, the Gharner has remained in active use by the modern APF despite it's age. Originally developed by the Godan millitary the Gharner is armed with a single medium caliber cannon and supporting machine gun linked to fire with the main gun. It's crew consists of only a driver and gunner due to it's small size and cramped interior. While very fast and able to take on other tanks with it's main gun the Gharner is susceptible to even HMG or autocannon fire due to it's very thin armor. Over the years it received many upgrades to keep it relevant including an IR spotlight and night vision system for night time operations. While the vast majority of Gharners have slowly rusted away some have remained in service by APF planetary forces. Many more have recently been restored to bolster the APF's lacking ground forces in fighting off the RBN invasion's of Amaran planets. Gharners and Murids which one traded blows on the field of battle now stand side by side in fighting off the RBN armies."
