or use this shortcut:

Controls
Camera
  • Move Camera (Right Click while moving mouse)
  • Zoom (Scroll Wheel)
Tools, Items and Containers
  • Select Tool/Item/Container (Left Click)
  • Select Tool (1-8)
Undo/Redo
  • Undo (Control + Z)
  • Redo (Control + Y)
Selection
  • Cut selection (Control + X)
  • Copy selection (Control + C)
  • Paste selection (Control + V)
  • Delete selection (Delete/Backspace)
  • Fill selection (F)
  • Deselect (Escape)
IMPORTANT!
The map editor shouldn't cause any issues that can break or corrupt your world, but make a backup so you can restore your world in case it does break.
