AI tent gives you reduced costs for respawn and - of course - AI that you can use to defend the base.

So, while trucks indeed have the biggest load capacity, helictopers can be better at logistics in quite a few cases. In situations where the area is not in an active fight, choppers can actually attain a higher effective rate of supply when operated by skilled pilots because of their speed. For more remote destinations, like André's Beacon, for example, a chopper is the superior chice by far. This is especially true for the Mi-8, given its 400 supply capacity.
Also, sometimes choppers can get in places which are otherwise blocked, like when a capture poinmt has gotten isolated.
