This guide, hopefully, will tell you how to run JA2 on newer system than Windows XP (tested and guaranteed on Windows 10) without any hassle and with more customization in the most simplest way as possible.

Without further ado, here are the steps.

• Download cnc-ddraw from github ( here [github.com])
  
• Extract the whole files and folder into the JA2 game folder (the folder with JA2.exe in it)
  
• Run the game and it should be running like normal

If you're interested with running the game with v1.13 mod, download the mod on github ( here [github.com]). Just skip all the steps above and install it accordingly; the mod already has the cnc-ddraw in it.

Make sure these two files are present in the game folder
