Fix Audio Problems for Windows 8!

Did you just recently buy bioshock, launched it, played for a few minutes with perfect audio, then suddenly none was found. So then you look up on youtube "How to fix your audio for Bioshock" and realize you have windows 8, the videos have windows 7, and windows 8 works diffrently. Well I have the solution for you!

This is the fix that worked for me, but maybe not for you. But try it anyway!

Step 1: First of all you are going to want to locate bioshock.exe so go to your steam library, find Bioshock, click properties, then click on find local files, go to builds, then finally release and there you will find(of course), Bioshock.exe!

Step 2: Right click Bioshock.exe, then click troubleshoot compatability, click troubleshoot program and box in I don't see my problem listed, finally box in Windows XP(service pack 3) THEN CLICK TEST If this doesnt work I have another solution for you!
FIX NUMBER 2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Go to your steam library and find Bioshock, click properties, click set laucnh options type it in exactly like this -nosound
If this doesn't work I can't help you anymore:c GL

Yeah, number 2 is usually a last second effort, didn't help me either whenever I had the problem, glad to hear this guide helped!

Method 1 works! Method 2, however, did not change anything (I tried #2 first and then removed it and tried #1). Thanks alot. After a lot of searching, this was the only guide that helped!
