1.0 - Twisted Room 433 / City of Cardinals
Twisted Room 433

After the final cutscene in the drifting prefecture ends, you will be transported back to the Edison hotel. The passage to the drifting prefecture is gone now, there is no way to return. The door near the TV is unlocked, use it to enter the next room and a cutscene will play. When it finishes, jump down to the lower area of the pool and the next area will load.

City of Cardinals

After a cutscene plays, you’ll regain control of Michael. Ignore the ladders and the big hole in the floor and take a left, follow the path forward, kill the ‘Cult Member’ enemy blocking a door and then interact with the door. Inside, light the three candles at different elevations to open the door to the next room. You can use the grappling hook from the 6th fold to climb up to the candles at higher elevations. After lighting all three candles the door will unlock, enter the next room and try to open the door to the next area, it’s locked. Look around the room for a broom in front of a window, interact with the broom and then interact with the dark window, the next door will unlock.

Exit through the door onto another walkway, continue forward then take a right when you reach a locked door with a big S on the wall. Enter the storefront with “nB BuUu” written above the door. Interact with the junk on a table inside to pick up the Turbine Replacement Part. The other doors in this section are blocked at this time, so head back to the beginning area. Use the grappling hook to jump over to the save point, and save your game.

After saving, use the grappling hook to go back in the opposite direction. Jump across the platforms, killing the ‘Nerve Cell’ enemies until you reach another pathway with railings. Jump down to the path and kill the Cult Member enemies below, pass the tilted building and the Parr Resident on the left. There are some invisible enemies in this area, they appear as a censored blur so be careful. After killing the enemies, look for the set of turbines with a red light. Interact with it to install the Turbine Replacement Part and the turbine will power on, this will power an elevator back near the save point.

Return to the save point, then follow the walkway to an elevator, get inside and use the button to descend to a lower level. When you reach the bottom, exit the elevator and walk down the long dark pathway, killing wheelchair enemies and flying nerve cell enemies. You’ll eventually reach a building labeled ‘u’, pass through it and there will be another short walkway and another building labeled ‘u’, enter it and kill the enemies inside. Use the grappling hook to access the second floor on the left side of the room (as you enter), there is an unlocked door. Inside there is a kind of library, follow the library path to its end, there should be two books on a book case. Pick the book on the top left, it’s called ‘Parr Residence’, it will give you the Parr Residence Key.

Leave the ‘u’ building and jump off the side into the darkness, you’ll be returned to the beginning of the level. Return to the Parr Residence and use the Parr Residence key to enter. Pick up the diving harness inside, go to the exterior of the house, near the dumpsters, and search for a diving platform. Interact with the platform and a cutscene will play, after it finishes you’ll have the Gate S Key in your inventory. Go back to the area where you found the Turbine Replacement Part, and use the S Key to open the door to the building with an S on it. Inside, there is another diving platform, use it and a cutscene will play, when it finishes you’ll have an Ear in your inventory.

Return to the ‘u’ building using the elevator to the lower area, there is another diving platform. Use the platform and you’ll pick up the RXS key. Leave the ‘u’ building and once again, jump off the side into the darkness and it will return you to the beginning area of the level. You can now enter the RXS room in that area. At the back of the room, pick up the Boron and read the journal. Interact with the large drums of dark liquid in the room to pick up a Concluse sample.

Exit the RXS room and interact with the big hole in the floor. A cutscene will start and the doors in the room will all shut, locking you in. In the opposite side of the room of the big hole, there are 5 buttons and a warning sign that reads 1246. Input this number into the generators on the left and right sides of the room, then return and press the large button under the warning sign. This will start a ritual cutscene, after it finishes a path will be open to the next area, jump on the railing to grind to the next level.
1.1 - The Grand Wizard's Sanctum

After arriving, use the save gem, then continue forward toward the large building. The door to the interior is locked, take the path on the right side until you get to a large metal switch, flip it then go back near the entrance of the building and take the path to the left.

Follow the path forward past the prisoners inside cages interacting with each of them, interact with the last prisoner on the right side, a feminine figure lying on the floor of the cell. She will give you an item called ‘The Crooked Key’. Turn around and interact with the elegant woman in the cage opposite the feminine figure. The elegant woman will give you the ‘Silver String’, take the ‘Crooked Key’ and ‘Silver String’ and give them to the nude adonis figure in one of the cages, he will tear out one of his eyes and give you the ‘Adonis Eye’ item.

Return to the area where the level started and take the path on the right and flip the large metal switch again. Go back toward the prisoners and you will be stopped by a metal bucket, put the 'Adonis Eye' inside, then return to the metal switch and flip it twice. The bucket will once again be blocking your path, pick up the 'Jailer’s Keys' inside it and then return and flip the metal switch one last time.

Use the 'Jailer’s Keys' to unlock each of the prisoners, after unlocking them walk to the end of the row of jail cells and open the door to the large domed building. A cutscene will start, when it finishes the prisoners will be gone.

To use this device you must insert the underlined numbers from each of the tombstone inscriptions into the device, then step onto the transporter. Insert the numbers 01827 to be transported to Sophia Vorington’s plot, look under the boardwalk and interact with the mound of dirt on the ground to pick up 'Heart Piece 1/4'.

Teleport back to the domed building and insert the numbers 10886 to teleport to Marjorie Vorington’s plot. Find the shining object on the ground and interact with it to pick up 'Heart Piece 3/4', then turn around and pick up the 'Pail' lying on the ground. Go back to Sophia’s plot using the code 08127 and fill the pail at the shore, giving you the 'Filled Bucket' item.

Return to the domed building and input the numbers 85186 to go to Timothy Vorington’s plot, use the pail of water to extinguish the body in the bassinet, and 'Heart Piece 4/4' will be added to your inventory. Go back to the domed building using the teleporter and input the code 11412, it will teleport you to Thomas Vorington Jr’s plot. Interact with the small stream, with a fish inside, to start a dialogue scene.

When the dialogue scene finishes, 'Heartpiece 2/4' will be added to your inventory. Now that you have all 4 heart pieces, return to the teleporter and go to Anabella Vorington’s plot using the code 73826. Interact with the burning corpse on a cross, when you leave this area you will be transported to Thomas Vorington’s boss area, the Nazi Pantheon.

Nazi Pantheon

Save your game at the save gem, then use the axe to cut down the boards blocking the path to the boss. After breaking down the boards on the right side of the beginning area, follow the path until you reach a damaged metal gate, crawl under it to start the boss fight.

Boss: Thomas Vorington

Thomas is one of the tougher bosses because he also has a gun. Do your best to avoid his shots, when he starts floating in the air using his balloon, shoot the balloon and he’ll fall back to the ground.

When the fight with Thomas Vorington ends the 'Red Wizard Key' will be added to your inventory and you’ll be transported back to the domed building at the Grand Wizard’s Sanctum. Leave the building and return to the locked red doors near the beginning of the level. Use the 'Red Wizard Key' to open the doors, and then approach the big hole in the floor to start a cutscene.
1.2 - The Cathedral / Ceremony Room
The Cathedral

After regaining control of Michael, pay attention to the three windows on each side of the hallway you’re in, they will be important later. Instead of interacting with the windows, continue on the path forward. Kill the invisible enemies nearby, then continue to the end of the corridor and interact with the balloon in a cage. Next, return to the hallway with windows on both sides.

Looking towards the direction of the balloon’s location, take the second window on the left. Go all the way to the end of the tunnel and flip the big metal switch at the end. Go back to the hallway through the window, and go to the first door on the left, near the save gem. At the end of the tunnel there is another large metal switch to flip, flip it then go back to the hallway again. Next, take the second door on the right, it will take you to another tunnel-like corridor, go all the way to the end and there are a pair of ‘Wire-cutters’ sitting on a table. The wire-cutters can be used to cut the 4 different fenced off rooms near the balloon’s cage.

Return to the balloon’s cage and use the wire-cutters to set it free. When the dialogue scene ends, use the wire-cutters to open the fenced off room next the cage. At the back of the room there is a table with a square on it and a place to insert a number, insert the number 5. Leave this room and then use the wire-cutters to open the other fenced off room near the balloon’s cage. At the back of this room there is another table with a circle on it, insert the number 4 into device on the table. Leave this room and then leave the area near the balloons cage, there are another set of fenced-off rooms nearby.

Facing towards the save gem, use the wire-cutters to cut the fence on the right side, at the back of the room there is another table with an X on it, insert the number 1 into the device on the table. Leave this room and use the wire-cutters to open the other fenced-off room nearby. At the back of the room there is another table with a triangle written on it, insert the number 3. The gate leading to the next section is now unlocked, it’s probably a good time to save your game.

As you walk past the gate into the newly unlocked area, a cutscene will trigger introducing a new enemy, kill the enemy then check the gate at the end of the hallway, you’ll need to find a key to progress. Near the midway point of the hallway there is another section of fence that can be cut using the wire-cutters, use it to enter a dilapidated hallway. In this section you can climb through the windows that are broken, after entering the room interact with the broken window to your right, it will take you to another room.

On your right and left side there should be two metal switches, flip both, then turn around and enter the window and return to the dilapidated hallway. Next, enter the broken window on the left side of the hallway, there is a switch inside, flip it and then return to the hallway and enter the last broken window.

The 'Nursery Key' should be lying next to some religious notes in one of the proclamation rooms. Now that you have the 'Nursery Key', return to the gate that was blocked from earlier, and use it to enter the Ceremony Room.

Boss: Twisted Daisy

When you enter the room a long cutscene will play, as it finishes the boss fight will start. There are 5 different buttons scattered around the Ceremony room, all of them need to be pushed to end the boss fight. Do your best to fend off daisy while you run between buttons but remember she can’t be killed, so try to preserve your health.

After pushing all 5 buttons a cutscene will activate, when it ends you’ll be back in the City of Cardinals. Like before, use the number 1246 to activate the projector ritual and you’ll enter a new area.

White Space

Walk to the end of the path and interact with the baby, a cutscene will start and you’ll be taken back to the 4th floor of the Edison Hotel.

Edison Hotel - 4th Floor

When the cutscene finishes you’ll get control of Michael again, from now on you’ll have to hold Daisy as you play. Return back to the 4th floor hallway and use the fireplace to save your game, then go to the mirror room and pass over to the mirrored world.

Walk to the 4th floor elevators near where you picked up the sofa pillows, and a cutscene will start, when it ends you’ll be in the stairwell.
1.3 - Mirrored Stairs / 2nd and 3rd Floor / Roof

Go up to the top floor and use the save gem to save you game, there is a key stuck in the roof door so the roof is not accessible. Go down to the 3rd floor and open the door on the right side of the hall, inside there is a ‘2nd Floor Key’ and 'Daisy's Shield'. Pick up either to start a cutscene, when it finishes Daisy will have the ability to block attacks for the player. Now, go down to the second floor and use the key to enter the door labeled 2F.

Find the fireplace in the hallway and save your game, then go back to where the level started and take a left. Follow the path forward until a cutscene starts and a new enemy is introduced. Kill the ‘Gross Guy’ sub-boss, then go back towards the direction of the fireplace and continue down the hall, another sub-boss ‘Fetus Woman’ will be introduced in a cutscene. Kill the Fetus Woman then return to where you fought the Gross Guy, there will be a shining object lying on the ground. Pick up the 'Room 205 Key' and then go to room 205, enter the room and use the axe to break the window and crawl outside onto a window-washing platform.

Edison Hotel - 3rd Floor (mirrored)

Use the axe to break the window to room 305, then go inside. As you enter the room enemies will start appearing so be careful. Inside the bathroom there is a 'Sledgehammer', it can be used to smash the concrete blocking the doors and doorways in this area. Use the sledgehammer to break the door to room 303 and crawl inside, leave room 303 by smashing the door to the hallway.

Next, go right and smash the big piece of concrete blocking the path forward. Enter room 304 and crawl through the hole over the bed, this will take you into room 302. Use the sledgehammer to exit room 302 by smashing the door to the hallway.

Go right and smash the big piece of concrete blocking the path, then crawl over the concrete. There is a gate with a lock on it, to the right there is another path, take the path and enter room 310. Carefully make your way past the beehives and pick up the 'Bug Spray' in the figure's hand.

Leave room 310 and return all the way back to room 304, the room with the hole above the bed. There is another hole in the room, enter the second hole and Michael will disperse some bees using the 'Bug Spray'. Exit the bug room using the second hole, then save at the fireplace nearby. Smash the large piece of concrete near the fireplace, then climb over it and break the next large piece of concrete you see, it will reveal the door to the stairs.

Unfortunately, the door to the stairs is jammed, so continue down the hallway and break the next two big pieces of concrete blocking the path. At the end of the hall there is another room filled with beehives and enemies, do your best to avoid them and pick up the 'Third Floor Gate Key' sitting on a sofa chair.

Return to the locked gate at the other side of the 3rd floor, and open it using the ‘Third Floor Gate Key’. Pick up ‘Terry’s Screwdriver’, its sitting on one of the tables near the elevators. Go back to the door to the stairs, that was jammed earlier, and use 'Terry’s Screwdriver' to re-enter the stairs.

Now that you have the screwdriver, go to the top floor and use the save gem, then interact with the roof door to go on to the roof.

Go past the small building and the water tanks, and go left, to the farthest corner of the roof, you’ll see a figure standing there, approach them to start a cutscene.

Boss Fight: Abby

Keep your distance from Abby and her attacks, she can do a lot of damage at close range.

When you’ve defeated her, a cutscene will play, then you’ll be back in control holding Daisy. As you regain control, notice the metal door on the ground, there is another door like that on the opposite side of the roof, they will be important in a moment.

There is a ladder on the small building connected to water tanks, climb it, then walk over to the top of the water tanks. There is one valve on each water tank, turn each of them, then return to the metal door in the ground and push the flush button.

The water will drain from the tanks. If the prompt stays open after flushing the tank, use the restart button to close it. Go to the top of the tanks and turn the valve on the top of tank #1. A cutscene will start, when it finishes interact with the roof elevator to go to the 4th floor.

Leave the elevator and go to the mirror room and cross back over to the non-mirrored world.

Save at the fireplace, then go to the stairs door and interact with it to go to the stairwell.

You can go to the top floor and try to open the roof door, but it won’t work. Instead go to the 2nd floor, to the room where you found the '2nd Floor Keycard' and 'Daisy’s Shield', there is a keycard for the 5th floor there now. Pick up the '5th Floor Keycard' and use it to open the 5F door on the 5th floor.
1.4 - 5th Floor / Final Boss
Edison Hotel - 5th Floor

Save your game at the fireplace, and read the note on the sofa. Across from the elevator there is a long hallway, open the first door on the left. Read the note on the bed and pick up the 'Strange Book' next to it. On a table at the back of the room there is another note, read it, then go back into the hall way and find the mirror with a triangle on it. Interact with the mirror and you will pass to the other side.

On the mirrored side, open the door all the way to the right. Pick up the ‘Esuohtnep Key’ lying on the bed inside, then return to the hallway and use it on the door at the end of the hallway. Use the bed propped up near the window to go outside and walk on the furniture towards the mirror, interact with the mirror to go back to the non-mirrored world.

Pick up the 'Bible' and the 'Hair pin' in the open dresser drawer, then interact with the chair in front of the door to move it out of the way. Return to the hallway and go back to the first room and open the safe using the 'Hair pin' to pick up the 'Cross' and 'Holy Water'.

Go through the mirror, to the mirrored world and open the door right behind the mirror, it should open now. Pick up the ‘Penthouse Key’ and cross back over to the non-mirrored world by walking over the floating furniture. Open the last un-opened door on the non-mirrored side and pick up the 'Roof Maintenance Key' on the dresser. Return to the area near the stairs, where you entered and use the 'Roof Maintenance Key' to open the roof access door.

Edison Hotel - Roof

Walk around on the roof a bit and a cutscene will start, when it finishes, interact with the elevator to load the next scene, when the cutscene finishes, you’ll be at the Edison Hotel bar.

Find the small coat check room near the bar entrance and save your game. There is a 'Jukebox Token' lying on one of the tables near a large seating area, pick it up and interact with the jukebox.

Boss: Michael’s Father

Michaels’a father has an assault rifle, so if he corners you, he can kill you very quickly. Use the environment and keep moving, use health items sparingly as there is still one more fight after this. When you’ve damaged him enough, a cutscene will trigger and you’ll be taken to another area.

In this second area, use the ‘Thermos’ sitting on a table to scoop up some of the CONCLUSE dripping from one of the extractors nearby. Cut down the fence, and use the thermos to pour CONCLUSE into a generator, this will power a control panel by the fence. Use the control panel to unlock the next gate, but before you go, open the three gates nearby that are now powered to find some first aid items.

Go to the area near the rusted trees and look for a smaller control panel on the wall, approach it and another cutscene will start, and another sequence where you’ll have to fight Michael’s father. When you've damaged him enough, you’ll be taken to the next area where the final boss fight takes place.

Boss: Michael’s Father Twisted

The final boss is enormous, get as close as you can and continue to fire Lament Arm shots, use any remaining health items and do your best to avoid his attacks. After you’ve inflicted enough damage, the final cutscene will start playing.
