Easy text guide to not be scared while playing this game:

1) DON'T play in VR mode
2) DON'T use headphones, just play the sound through your speakers (maybe at low volume)
3) Deal with the horror one by one
3.1) Girl in black dress : LOOK at her until she disappears
3.2) Clown: Do NOT move, not even your camera!
3.3) Puppet boy: When he comes for you, CLOSE the door
3.4) Girl in white dress: DON'T go down the hole and if she appears (4am or later) search for her as if hide and seek
4) Spend some time in the game and find out what is causing you to be afraid
5) Have fun!

I was afraid on my first couple hours of playing but that was easily solved when I didnt use headphones anymore
