PVE Build for all classes up to level 36
By PulsarNova
In this guide you'll have a rough breakdown of each individual class leveling up to the level 36, It's not a strict specification but one i'd personally recommend as I've leveled all the classes to 65 before.

Resetting Talents and Characteristics
  • Resetting Levels 1-20: Sublevel 20 you can use a Mandrake that drops from mobs in Elgore or can be purchased from an NPC in Varlone Shown below
  • During this time you can reset as many times as you'd like but after level 20 it will be a bit more difficult to reset

  • Resetting Levels 20+: Once you've leveled past level 20 it's harder to reset because of where you collect the resources. Down below is Elenium which you can only gather from PVP zones of your respective levels 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-60, 61-65
  • 2nd image shows you how much elenium you have collected, you'll need to leave to acquire that amount and that's through the portal exits, if a player kills you, you'll lose a portion of it to the killer
  • How to reset 20+: Once you collect 300 elenium you'll be able to reset talents, and once you collect 600 you'll be able to reset stat points for free, it can be done an infinite amount of times at the location below.

  • Faster Resetting with premium items: If you'd like to reset quicker and easier you can buy these items off the market or premium store, the Flower will be from levels 21-49 and each is their specific reset, the Fruits will be from lv 50+

  • One-time reset for stats and talents: You can get a one-time reset from the NPC down below next to the mind cleanse machine where it says "Resetting your attributes" BE CAREFUL THOUGH AS THIS IS A ONE TIME QUEST AND CAN BE DONE AT ANY TIME
Warrior
1. Dark Knight
  • Stat Distribution Strength > Stamina > Luck (Heavy Strength and Stam, just keep some hit with luck)
  • Strengths:
High healing with bleed and bloody harvest aoe healing
Can deal good aoe damage with whirlwind blow
Good mitigation from Bone Armor and Perfect Protection
  • Key PvE Skills:
Bloody Harvest at lv 29, as it'll be an AOE healing skill when grouping up mobs
Whirlwind blow applying aoe bleed on anything hit by it
With the bleed talent skill you can place it on a high-HP mob to be able to heal while
    pulling groups together
  • Play-style Tips:
Sustain through life-steal and high HP.
    Position for maximum AoE damage.
A key factor is placing a banner of darkness as you deal more damage and get life-steal while
    standing next to it
  • Recommendation on skill points goes up to 36, after that,t it can be preference on how you've been playing the game and what you think will help as by then you'll have a bit firm grasp of your class, This build can go till max level as the healing will always help since you get damage mitigation as you level
I highly recommend maxing the 2nd tree into the 2 points on the top tree then going on the third tree after and seeing what you'll be enjoying for your class with the later skill points

2. Crusader
  • Stat Distribution Strength > Stamina > Luck (Strength with mix of stamina with some luck sprinkled)
  • Strengths:
    High durability and healing
Healing while being able to pull mobs together with a great ability to pivot as a support if your party needs healing
  • Key PvE Skills:
Grand-cross, This will be your main skill for damage mobs as during the cast time you'll be granted bonus defense and mitigation
Aura Shield from the talent tree as it makes you immune to damage for a brief time to able to run from mobs if brought dangerously close to death
Ray of light, burst healing with lowering CDs of certain skills from the talent tree
Banner of light/inspiration gives you an attack bonus and healing from Banner
  • Playstyle Tips:
Kite/group mobs while fury builds up from the talent tree, mainly using Ray of Light and Holy touch
Using inspiration and Banner of Light before casting Grand Cross will increase the damage you deal, usually, you'll want to cast Perfect protection before casting Grand Cross to survive the packs you pull
After that,t you'll usually rinse and repeat, casting Ray of Light lowers the cool-down of Grand Cross allowing you to cast it more often
  • Recommendation Focus on whittling down the mobs with Grand Cross as it can deal very high amounts of damage from the fury casting
Reliable protection can be used as well when running with mobs to give you a 40% damage reduction allowing you to pull more mobs, but be cautious not to overwhelm yourself with mobs
Mage
Sorcerer
  • Stat Distribution Int > Stam > Dex (Hard Int with Stamina early, then swap over to dex) Dodge is king for pve sorc at the end game
  • Strengths:
High durability and kitting potential to run whole maps
It can be an excellent support for your teammates to pull maps as well
  • Key PvE Skills:
Wall of Fire: place parallel (side of you) to pull mobs through it as it slows and damages them
Circle of time: Cuts your casting speed in half
Regeneration: Heals you over time while pulling mobs
Healing Shield(I forgot the exact name lol): Instant cast damage mitigation shield, boosted healing while under the effect
  • Play-style Tips:
Sustain through damage with constant healing and damage reduction from Regeneration and Shield
Position for maximum AoE damage: EX, place Wall of Fire parallel to you so mobs run through the whole firewall
Force-field can be used to push mobs back and root them in the Fire Wall to allow you to farm easier and max your damage out
Cast Circle of Time before using your AOE spells as it cuts them in half for casting
When you acquire Thundercloud you can spam this skill while running with mobs to thin out the mobs while you're gathering them up
  • Recommendation: Resting talents (gather elenium from PVP zones, blue floating collectibles) to be able to get the talent in the 4th tree (middle talent) for allowing you to just spam Thundercloud without having to stop with AOE spells

Warlock

  • Stat Distribution Intelligence> Stamina> Luck (Mainly go Int, mix with stamina and keep luck even with level)
  • Strengths:
    High AOE damage
Damage mitigation from summons taking a % of the damage you take
  • Key PvE Skills:
Wall of Fire for constant damage and slowing mobs
Raging Chaos (forgot the name;-;? Chaos Vortex? LV 22) Pulls all the mobs together and applies a chaos dot, That dot will heal you each time it ticks on ALL MOBS
Blood Shield gives damage mitigation like a sorcerer's
Nightmare is an AOE fear that can get you out of sticky situations on mobs as it hits everything around you 100%
Desecration will be a DoT aoe for poison that's instant-cast for clearing mobs
  • Play-style Tips:
Group mobs with a wall of fire followed by Desecration into Raging Chaos to aoe down your mobs, with Rain of Fire
    Position for maximum AoE damage.
Using: your melee skills after those will deal an AOE effect that applies Chaos and gives you more healing
  • Recommendation Slowly learn your limits as you're fairly squishy and don't have as much mitigation early in the game, So take your time on pulling mobs
Archer
Hunter
  • Stat Distribution Accuracy > Dex > Stamina > Luck (Get stamina as you grind through the levels, since you need HP to stay alive lol
  • Strengths:
High AOE damage, good kiting on mobs
All around class as it has nearly everything you want in the game
Good supporting team with movement, energy buff, and mob distraction
  • Key PvE Skills:
Burr: applies aoe dot to mobs and slows keeping distance
Ice trap from the talent tree as it allows you to freeze mobs from a distance to catch your breath on CD's
Hunting whistle as it allows you to get your energy back while fighting mobs
Dummy as it distracts all mobs in the area Careful as it grabs mobs attention that isn't normally attack on sight
  • Play-style Tips:
Grab groups of mobs while maintaining distance with Walking tour and healing charge
You'll be wanting to group mobs up and try to line them up with Burr as it's your main source of damage, Every time it's off CD throw it in the group of mobs
Piercing Shot and Explosive Shot will do an AOE bleed that can allow you to get more damage on your pulls, though as Explosive Shot isn't big of a range
Always be ready to use Jump Back as it can get you out of sticky situations from mobs
Using beastly Fury after you unlock the 2nd talent in the 4th tree to prep before attack mobs will significantly boost your damage on mobs, so keep that in mind
  • Recommendation: This class lets you get away with farming mobs at a higher amount and higher level than it should with all the dots you have, so try to get a bit more riskier once you have more skills unlocked like the dummy skill

I'd personally recommend pivoting at level 36 with the skill build under this at level 36 as it's more AOE potential with damage (go full traps still and then go into hunting after going into shooting)

Sniper
  • Stat Distribution Accuracy > Stamina > Luck/Dex
  • Strengths:
    Constant damage with Flamethrower
    Great AOE stun
Can be an easy class to kill mobs with a guaranteed AOE burn that deals great damage
  • Key PvE Skills:
Flamethrower, Burns everything in front, always hits, a bit of an interesting hit-box scan
Wound Dressing to help heal you, prep before killing mobs to survive
Mine, AOE stun when mobs walk into it when you flamethrower
Burr is another aoe to help kill mobs and slows mobs to give you breathing space
  • Play-style Tips:
Kite mobs around with Healing charge while casting concentration to build Focus
Burr trap to give yourself space to prep on mobs before killing
Mine, on top of yourself, while running away from mobs then turn with flamethrower to kill mobs, if in danger use Rocket Jump to get away from mobs
    Rinse and repeat
  • RecommendationThis class is very heavy on how it survives as you need to kite the mobs around and be careful of getting imploded by unlucky crits from mobs, It's not an easy class to recommend but it can pay off in learning the game and how to farm with it
Thief
Thief
  • Stat Distribution Strength > Stamina > Luck (Could swap to Strength > Dex > Luck if you wish to do dodge mid game)
  • Strengths:
High AOE damage (but at a bit later in levels
    Good suitability with booze healing
Can get energy back from food mid-combat
  • Key PvE Skills:
    Spring, AOE BURN BLEED
Campfire heals you % hp while next to it
Booze, Gives you passive healing for a duration
Distraction, AOE aggro pull for a few seconds
Blade dance(deadly dance?) is an AOE spin that gives you 40% damage mitigation for a few seconds
  • Play style Tips:
The main bread and butter will be at lv 28 when you unlock Spring; the Main rotation will be Booze, place campfire, Activate Massacre, and then use Spring to jump on mobs to deal AOE damage and lower their damage and apply dots
Careful when playing this as you don't have a lot of mitigation other than Deaths Dance so be cautious when pulling a lot of mobs
Focus more on attack, splitting some points into stamina, dexterity, and luck
  • Recommendation Focus on getting the 3rd tree and then go into the 4th tree and max it then go into the 2nd tree

Assassin
  • Stat Distribution (gear changes your stats constantly so please keep that in mind, as everyone is different on where they should allocate points)
Strength > Stamina > Luck (You can pivot to Strength > Dex > Luck For a dodge build)
  • Strengths:
Lots of dots with spread and can be invisible away from mobs to finish them off if needing a reset.
Invisibility for running around mobs and maps(higher level mobs will be able to see you though)
  • Key PvE Skills:
Blade dance(deadly dance?) is an AOE spin that gives you 40% damage mitigation for a few seconds
Poison cloud will slow mobs and apply your poison DoT allowing you to farm more mobs at a time, though takes a second to activate after putting it down
Vampire strike gives you healing until you unlock Detoxification as you only have those two healing skills
Blinding Bomb and Ice Bomb will be good CCs to have mobs stay in your Poison cloud
  • Playstyle Tips:
Pull mobs together with toxic could and spread poison across with Viper Strike and Sudden Strike
Ice bomb mobs when they're getting closer to you (while they're iced they can be 100% hit regardless of dodge and level difference)
Blinding bomb when they're out of Ice bomb to reduce the damage they deal and have a chance to miss attacks on you
Deadly Dance gives you CDR on ALL skills, use while mobs are close together as it gives damage reduction
  • Recommendation Using Deadly Dance at the end of your AOE's will help you clear better as it gives you a lower downtime in between pulls
Don't be afraid to activate your Aura for the bonus damage reduction and damage mitigation it can give you (CD is affected by Deadly Dance)
With the talent in the 3rd tree , you can stay away from mobs to give yourself space as poison DoT will deal damage the further away you are from your target, so don't be afraid to run from the mob to give yourself some breathing space
Finally
This is my personal guide I've made from scratch if you'd like it i'd really appreciate it if you like it and give me back any feedback for future guides,

To the reason why i only made it up to level 36 is because of how people play the game, this isn't a one build be all for leveling and grinding, you can do whatever build you want however you want, i just want to help the newer players learn the game and enjoy it to where they have an idea of what their class can do and how to use it for farming.

Please note STAT points will fluctuate heavily as gear changes throughout your leveling and sealing

If you'd like i can make a gearing guide for leveling as well and anything else other people suggest

If you ever see me on Aztec send me a dm if it helps or a mail under the character name Nova. I hope this has helped and i hope you enjoy!

PS: follow me on twitch https://www.twitch.tv/nova_pulsar

PPS: I'll go back on this guide and be updating it with more info on the classes, I just wanted to get the main info of the classes down for all the people asking the in RQ discord! <3 much love all! Have a great day!

Could you write a weapons guide? Like, where to get them at which levels?

Great guide and also great streams! I've started playing Royal Quest for the first time about 2 weeks ago or something, followed every step of this guide, some more on his streams and I'm 65 DK right now. Thank you for the time you put into your guides and work!
