Every Day Cary (EDC)
Always take the following with you:
1-2 First Aid Kit => Health bar (avoid dying)
1-2 Energy Drink => Stamina bar (strenght)
1-4 Small Battery (charged) => Energy bar (flashlight)
=> If you drive or walk more than 200 meters away
from buildings save the game first and look
on the screen in the station when the next storm is.
.
Energy:
It has no physical unit in the game => call it E.
=> Consumption = Energy E per Minute (EPM)
..
Energy generation:
A station gives the train +200 EPM if it is inside (at no cost).
The engine itself generates +50 EPM if it is outside (at no cost).
1 Solar Panel Tier-1 generates +60 EPM if it is outside (no storm).
.
Energy consumption:
1 indoor light: 10 EPM
1 outdoor light: 20 EPM
1 Wall mounted heater: 40 EPM
1 Engine ON only: 60 EPM (outside: +50-60= -10)
1 Engine gear 1: 100 EPM (outside: -10-100=-110)
1 Engine gear 2: 200 EPM (outside: -10-200=-210)
1 Engine gear 3: 300 EPM (outside: -10-300=-310)
.
Fission reactor:
(usefull after Station 3)
A fission reactor always generates +300 EPM.
Each loaded fuel cell lasts for 2 Minutes.
Cells would be wasted if they were in the reactor
just before reaching a station, since the station
would then replenish energy for free.
Sample:
Filled with: 4 Cells; Drive ~2m; Remaining: 5m 7s; Fuel: 2; Waste: 1/6
1 Cell gave 300 E => Waste 1
2 Cells are unused yet => Fuel 2
1 Cell is in use => 1m 7s left half empty (+2 * 2m = 5m 7s)
.
Energy storage:
The train itself stores 500 E.
Each power cell stores additional 600 E.
(e.g. 500 E + 3 * 600 E = 2300 E)
.
Physics:
The heavier the train, the more energy and time
it needs to reach a velocity (slopes!) and the next station:
Generation + Storage of E
=>Keep the “MASS” on the engine screen
below ~2500 or use a second engine.
.
Build Menu and Fabricator
New: all mass values under 'kg'
1 chest holds 20 kg.
If the personal inventory contains more than 30 kg,
you can not jump or run.
.
Bored?
Imagine new challenges like: running from station 1 to station 6 without a train or building a train that has a speed of more than 360 or find more than two power cores.

Preview
This preview of my "WorldInventory"
is not finished yet and only ~90% reliable!
You'll find the numbers on top on the map above in green.
The content of chests and lockers varies (min-max values).
Even if you reload the same save-game.
So parts could be in another building in your case.
Try this: Make a save when you arrive a station.
Then repeat loading it untill the contents are good.

NEW Preview
"Making of" new better Map.
It's really very difficult but I think I can do it.
Feel free to suggest other names for the mountain peaks.
Check back in...

item 49 on the cliff--does ANYONE know how to climb up that cliff? every other area for scrambling up is easy but I spent about an hour trying to climb up and kept falling off. Ended up abandoning it just because soup isn't that worth it XD.

Do you plan on adding the raw fissile fuel rocks to the map now that we have the extractor? I have two images of two of their locations (one image each) if you want them (on location is at the ambush and the second is just before the chapter 1 station). I dont know if there are more

About the "WorldInventory", there is 5 patches of Shadow Breeze around station 4 (3 in each I think): 1; Left side of the track after crossing the bridge, across the "loot cliff". 2 & 3; Right side of the track around the "loot cliff" after passing by it. 4; near the second loot under the arch, uphill. 5; Going downhill then left of the second loot under the arch.

Ernesthaft, thanks for your hard work on this. It's players like you that contribute so much to the community. Don't give up! Your energy notes alone are quite useful. EA games like this with random loot spawns can sometimes be frustrating, but your loot table does give people some idea of what's available and where, even if the types and quantities are variables. Your Guide also gives other players a place to share their own discoveries and make contributions to game-world exploration and mapping. It's part of the fun. Three thumbs up.

Thank you Basiliew. The mirror problem is solved. I need to redesign the part with Station 5+6. It is too small and should include the river. Then the two loot places will be included. I'm also working on a complete world loot inventory. It will use the little green place numbers.

I found two new loot boxes next to station 5. One is on a rock in the cave below secret lab where the river goes, second is where the river ends and go under a mountain there is a small cave entry you need to crawl inside. Oh and you did a mirror buildings and secret lab on station 5 buildings should be on right side and lab on the left.

Thanks for the helpful information. Please tell me more hidden places and have a good new year

definitely didnt find all the lil stashes hidden away waaay out of the beaten path
but the things from them dont matter much...
Basiliew 30 Dec, 2024 @ 2:48pm
About that map there are some errors like the secret lab is next to station 5 not 4. You didnt mention cave near train remains. Next to station 4 are two hidden stashes not mentioned on map, stash to the way to secret lab also.
