First thing you need to do is open your steam library and locate Sleeping With Sakuya Izayoi. Click the tab and on the far right find the small gear button. After clicking this it will open a small menu. You fill find at the very bottom of the menu an option saying "Properties." You want to click this.




Now with properties open you will want to look to the left of the tab and find the section Installed Files. After clicking it you'll find an option called "Browse" on the top right. This will open the game's files with the file explorer!

This section is where things might get a little scary, but it's okay! It's not as hard as it looks and I'm right here with you!! When you open the game's files you'll see a small handful of different options to where you can go. All the game's data on your computer is stored here, so you can edit to your heart's content! But for our purposes you want to go to the "Game" folder first.



A lot of new files will come up now, but you want to ignore almost all of them except for one. This one might not come up immediately so you may have to scroll down a little bit.





It might ask you how you want to open the file. Me personally, I do notepad! So that's how I'll be guiding you through this one too. Now this is where things get pretty scary.. But you can do it! It's not that much longer now!

The new tab will likely look just like this. There's a lot of lines of code, words that might not make sense, and it looks so overwhelming! But don't worry, you don't have to worry about almost all of that! Sakuya's code is actually pretty simple and easy to adjust! But here's the shortest way through.

Ctrl + H opens the replace tool. It's really simple how this one works. You type in a word on the top and it will locate that word, then you type in another word on the bottom and it will replace instances of the top word with the bottom word. You can replace individually or replace all. Alternatively, you can use Ctrl + F to open the find tool. This will let you type in words, phrases, or characters and the tool will automatically take you to them. Very useful stuff!



On the top right boy, on the bottom type girl. Hit replace all. I suggest using the find tool to search for other things you might not like and want to change. But whatever you do, don't forget to save before you leave!

Sakuya won't immediately respond to changes, so you'll have to save and exit then restart the game. But after you do this all your changes will be in the game! In other words, Sakuya will call you a good girl and whatever cute personalized things you want her to.. Ehehe~
