The official language files that are not included in this version/EU disc retail are Simplified Chinese (files not found), Traditional Chinese, Russian, and Polish.

Instructions
  1. Download the archive and extract the contents to "data2" folder if you're using Vanilla/Style Switcher v2.4.3 or in "native\rom" folder if you're using Style Switcher v3.0+
Instructions (Vanilla/Style Switcher v2.4.3 below)
Before you do this, make sure that the Language Files are already placed in your DMC3SE folder. The default languages are English, Japanese, German, French, Italian, and Spanish. The rest should be downloaded.

  1. Rename/delete "installscript.vdf".
  2. Update the game to v1.3.0[community.pcgamingwiki.com]. You'll also need this when installing Style Switcher Mod anyways.
  3. Run Command Prompt (cmd) as Administrator.
  4. Select one then copy and paste this command:
    For x86 (Windows 32-bit):
    REG ADD "HKLM\SOFTWARE\CAPCOM\Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition" /v Language /t REG_DWORD /d ? /f REG ADD "HKLM\SOFTWARE\CAPCOM\Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition" /v Subtitles /t REG_DWORD /d ? /f

    For x64 (Windows 64-bit):
    REG ADD "HKLM\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\CAPCOM\Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition" /v Language /t REG_DWORD /d ? /f REG ADD "HKLM\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\CAPCOM\Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition" /v Subtitles /t REG_DWORD /d ? /f

    This method modifies the game registry.
    The "?" stands for the following:
    0 = English 1 = Japanese 2 = German 3 = French 4 = Italian 5 = Spanish ---- Do not use the following numbers if you don't have these Language files ---- 6 = Russian 7 = Polish 8 = Traditional Chinese 9 = Simplified Chinese
  5. Press Enter and any key to close the Command Prompt.
  6. Run and test the game.
Instructions (Style Switcher v3.0+)
  1. After installing Style Switcher Mod v3.0+, open "StyleSwitcher.ini" via Notepad.
  2. Look for "Language" and "Subtitles" and change the number given below.
    0 = Japanese 1 = English 2 = French 3 = German 4 = Italian 5 = Spanish ---- Do not use the following numbers if you don't have these Language files ---- 6 = Korean (only works for Subtitles or else the game will crash when set as Language) 7 = Simplified Chinese 8 = Traditional Chinese 9 = Russian 10 = Polish
  3. Save the file.
  4. Run and test the game.
