Preface
Ready or Not is a great game that I love a lot, but it isn't without its flaws. One of these that I see some people bring up is how we spend too much time waiting in loading screens/walking around the main hub area in the police station.

Because of this, many players get bored quickly and leave or go away from their computer, here I want I show you there's some cool stuff around the station you can do!
Skip ahead to the section after the next one if you're interested in that, but if you'd like to hear some tips on hosting lobbies then keep on reading...
How to be a good host...
If you host a game, be sure to do the following to make it a fun lobby for everyone:
  1. Be patient and wait for players to join.
  2. When they join, tell them if you are playing for an S rank, going lethal/non-lethal and ask for map recommendations or choose a map immediately if you don't wanna waste any time getting in-game.
  3. Host DLC missions if you own any.
  4. And just have fun, no need to larp around like Meal Team Six. Keep it casual with some tactics.
  5. If you are going to larp and play as tactical as possible, let it be known to the players in your lobby just so they know how you want to play the mission.
  6. Let people know if you are hosting any mods such as Gunfighter or Zombie or Not.
  7. Do not restart the mission after one single inconvenient -50 to the overall score of the mission.
  8. Do not quit the game immediately if you die, Ready or Not unfortunately does not migrate hosts so if you leave the session or quit the game then it boots everyone out too.
Things to do while you wait!
Sitting around waiting for players can get boring really fast, here's some things you can do to kill time:
  • Customize your loadout and play tactical barbie or create preset loadouts.
  • Drink some coffee.
  • Talk to other players or walk up to any of the NPCs!
  • Look around the station, there is lots of really cool details here.
  • Go to the gun range and practice your shooting skills.
  • Go downstairs and practice clearing the kill house.
  • Play on the ping pong arcade machine with a friend!
  • Or peel the nazi's muffin cap back.
And when it is time to go onto your next mission...
PRESS THAT DAMN READY UP BUTTON!
If you see 4/5 players ready up and you haven't pressed that key yet then just press it, the game tells you the key you ready up with.
Fin.
Most of this is just common sense but let's be real, common sense is not most gamer's strongest suit sometimes.

You should write about how not to leave as the host when immediately dies.
