How To Play Multiplayer?

Hello everyone,

The beta version of the mod is now available for all users. Don't forget to join our discord server to follow all new announcements and update notes.

The mod is now approximately 90% complete. This means that the mod is very close to completion and we can now move on to the BETA version. In the current beta all leviathan class creatures are synchronized.

How can I download the mod?
You can download the beta version at https://subnauticamultiplayer.com. For your own safety, do not download from anywhere other than "subnauticamultiplayer.com".

What's Next?
With the release of the beta, the missing creature synchronization and a few other minor synchronizations remain. These remaining synchronizations will be completed and improvements will be made to the mod. If all goes well, the full version will be released in 2025 and this project will be completed. I will release small updates for 1-2 months after the project is completed, and after that I will release updates if there is a critical or gameplay-impacting issue. Other than that, I don't plan to release any other updates.

So , what is the multiplayer all about , just building bases together ? Because there is not much to the story to complete the game .

Or I should say instead of Story Line , getting off the planet , the Story Line is pretty well a total waste of time for me , like being in a Soap Opera .

755 hours in Subnautica , approx. 450 hrs in BZ , I'm actually playing again right now , from the beginning and seeing how little interaction I need to complete the campaign , not interacting with Marguerit , not exploring anything in the base on the Glacier , it is useless and has no bearing on the Story Line .

Why Subnautica BZ and not Subnautica which is way more interesting to play ? Just finished playing BZ 2 days ago for the 3rd time I believe , so many things in the game are totally useless and serve no purpose , don't even have to talk to Marguerit to complete the game as far as I know , will have to restart the game and test that . And what is the purpose of the multiplayer , is it just to build bases ?
