Too lazy to refuel? Have I got the mod for you!

April 12, 2025 edit: This mod is outdated and broken, updates will come but developer is busy with IRL. Disable the mod if you have issues!!

Are you too lazy to do air to air refuelling? Have I got the mod for you! Simply fly close to a fuel tanker of your choosing, and open the fuel port. Then a state of the art autopilot system will take control and automatically refuel for you! Simply close the refuelling port when you are done, and continue doing more of whatever it is you like to do in VTOL VR. (Obv make sure your fuel tanks are not full)

Patches applied:
- Updated to support VTOLAPI
- Added support for DLC vehicles (T-55. EF-24G(broken)) and some modded vehicles (F-16C Viper mod for example)

This mod is very buggy and unfinished, expect bugs!

Buuuuuuuuuuuuuut if you found bugs, please report them in the comments OR in the Discussions page (a better way to report bugs will come soon)
Please be wary that the mod is still a WIP, and the DLC planes (specifically the EF-24G) may have bugs/not work. Updates will come!

Yeah, a fix for this would be great.
Seems like im not capable of proper A2A-refueling and therefore it takes 10minutes and many disconnects until i've filled my plane.

When the mod worked, my life was better

Okay, I know it is bugged... I cannot ever seem to get the hang of AAR, and this has helped out immensely. But...I was flying a AV-42c and needed a refuel, tanker was doing a constant big orbit. I opened the port and autopilot took over. What happened is that it would connect for 2 seconds then disconnect, reconnect for 2 seconds, then disconnect... over and over and over. I could not take manual control to try to line things up or tweak the pitch. Eventually I closed the port and did a RTB with only 1/2 tanks (~20 minutes). I also know that the dev is busy, but is there any chance that this can get updated anytime soon?

the mod has very bad handling. theres no auto pilot for the throttle and the auto pilot forces you to bounce. spent 2 hours of my life fighting this system. sucks. uninstalling. hope it can get an update cuz i would love this system

this mod is great but i have a genuine question: is the mod capable of differentiating between the "nearest" tanker, as when i use it on some scenarios its just nosedives to a tanker that is on the ground even though there is a closer one in the air.

its not that its not working at all - sometimes is works flawlessly with the FA-26B, once I had the same behavior and could not get it to work

not working for me on the f/a-26b. the "autopilot" just leaves me under the belly of the tanker, pretty far away from the broom.
