The guide currently covers:

📖 Ancient Tomes
There are currently 10 ancient tomes that you can discover in the game to unlock the "Bookworm" achievement.

The first 6 tomes are located in areas governed by a Sinlord. While, the additional areas of the Snowy Peak and the Factory have 1 and 3 tomes respectively. In the case of the Factory map, you will need to replay the area at least 3 times to obtain all 3 tomes.

About the Many-Faced
Many-Faced, Immortal, Devourer of Worlds… this demon is known by many names.

He terrorized countless worlds, draining the life energy of those who lived there.

And only the combined strength of all the mightiest heroes from these worlds were able to defeat him. However, they still could no destroy him completely, and so they imprisoned him in a forgotten corner between worlds. They named this place the Valley of Sinners.
???
About the Seals
This place was sealed so that no one could leave the valley and the Many-Faced Demon couldn't hurt anyone. The seven guardians, embodiments of the seven deadly sins, were the seals that bound this place. The Many-Faced Demon couldn't break them himself, so he came up with a devious plan.
???
About the Escape Plan
No one could get out of this Valley, but to get into it, with some expenditure of magical forces, it was still possible. Then the Many-Faced Demon began to search for sinners who died in their worlds, intercept their souls and place them in this Valley. He found a way to do it so gracefully, that many people did not even suspect such a rebirth.
Caves of Greed
Solitary Tower
The Valley's inhabitants sometimes come across a strange tower that stands alone and rises above the treetops. The few who have entered and returned alive say the tower is full of monsters who will not allow travellers to the upper floors.

They also claim the lucky person who makes it to the room at the very top will receive the treasures of the tower's owner. But perhaps those are all just rumours...
Forest of Gluttony
Mysterious Merchant
Travellers often encounter a mysterious cart on the side of the road with a merchant who sells a variety of useful items. But how does he manage to escape the clutches of the monster hordes that inhabit these desolate places?

Rumor has it that the merchant once procured a unique magic item that renders him invisible to those who do not wish to see him. He permits only those whom he can trade with to see his goods.
???
Mystic Portal
Sometimes black holes— portals in space— appear in different places in the Valley of Sinners. They drag travellers into the unknown, relocating them to places they could never have reached by foot.

People who have managed to return from these spots have told tales of snowy mountain tops and a chill that pierces you to the bone...
Snowy Peak
Frost Queen
Black holes occasionally opened a passageway for travellers to a place called the Snowy Peak. Long ago, a powerful sorceress found this passage and stayed in the Snowy Peak to live among the ruins of an ancient city. She surrounded herself with ice warriors to keep her from being disturbed as she amassed magical power by siphoning it from the ice and cold. The few who have returned from this place call her the Frost Queen.
Factory
Born of Faith
The factory workers had suffered incredibly difficult working conditions for a long time. The managers did not respond in any way to requests to make life easier for ordinary workers. This factory was the first experimental factory in the region. The workers had no choice but to pray to a higher power. They began to believe in something divine that could come and help them.
Factory
Raise of Faith
In a back room, the factory workers made an altar on which they placed flowers and candles. They assembled something like a human torso from improvised means, and with the help of boards, wires, and iron plates, they fixed the torso on the altar. Within a year, their general meetings took the form of a cult, and the altar became a place with a very strange energy.
Factory
Reveil of Faith
On the last Sunday of the year, all the workers involved in the cult came for regular prayer. Suddenly, the doors slammed shut and all the candles in the room went out for a few minutes. There was a whisper in the crowd that said, "He has come.", "He is here.", "He has heard us." They did not yet understand who this "He" was, but their faith in "Him" was impeccably sincere.
🎮 Miscellaneous Tips
Here some tips that you might find helpful when experiencing Sin Slayers.
  • During battle, you can click on various background elements (i.e. grass patches, logs, tombstones, etc.) for a chance to gain additional items. Clickable elements will highlight in yellow when you hover over them and the interactable elements are chosen randomly each time.
  • The blue fox that accompanies your hero squad was a Kickstarter community social goal reward that required participants to perform social actions (i.e. share the game on various social media platforms, wishlist the game, etc.) You can make it bark by clicking on it during battle. It has no effects nor other interactions.
