Poorly made German tanks pack
By DontMindMeImJustANoob
(Last updated 29.01.2025)
Heya. You might know me as a guy who made Foxhole Wardens' tanks pack (that already got 200+ visits, tysm), and there are some of my german tanks i made.

Note: All of the tanks i was making only using Sprocket, without pre-loading any files, so the models are not perfect and have flaws, if you want to correct them - feel fine DMing me or writing down in the comments about this (maybe, at some point, there'll be not only german tanks)
Note 2: After 29.01 update, the screenshots are a bit irrelevant since they show the old versions of the tanks (tho not all of them, Pz. Is and some IVs are looking better)
Also, these tanks use Space Hobo's SRB decals and paint schemes (they're already in the pack, just wanted to mention him)

UPD: You can all collectively forget about this bs pack cuz' Space Hobo is about to be back with his own German tanks, so I guess I'll just delete all of this later

Thank you
Hey, uh, just wanted to say thanks for already 500+ visits here. It's my first time doing anything like this and is basically one of the few life achievements i have (this pack got 300+ views way faster than my previous Foxhole Wardens' tanks pack), dunno if it'll get past 600, but the time will show

Now, to the tanks, don't wanna hold you for much
The quick summary:
Pz. I series
The first German tanks, classified as "Panzerkampfwagen" were, of course, Pz. Kfpw. I tanks.

Pz.Kpfw.I Ausf. A
The first ever Pz. I modification (not counting the prototype) with 4 roadwheels and a 4-cylinder engine

Pz.Kpfw.I Ausf. B
The A modification upgrade with 8-cylinder engine, and longer hull (because of it)
Pz. II series
Pz.Kpfw. II Ausf. C
One of the earliest modifications, utilizes 20mm KwK 38 as it's main arnament and has a 15+ rounded armor (with some exceptions)

Pz.Kpfw. II Ausf. F
Slightly re-built version of Pz. II C, with overall better performance
Pz. III series
One of the biggest (and my favorite) series i've made. There are lots of stuff to check out

Pz.Kpfw. III Ausf. B
One of the earliest modifications of Pz. III, with early tracks design (8 roadwheeled tracks) and max armour of 14,5(15)mm in front of the hull

Pz.Kpfw. III Ausf. E
A modification of Pz. III B, containing the new tracks design, new cupola, thicker armour and other improvements

Pz.Kpfw. III Ausf. F
This model got a new cannon mantlet, and some of it's modifications were equipped with 50mm KwK 38 cannon

Pz.Kpfw. III Ausf. J
Overall armour improvements, and 50mm KwK 38 cannon as a main arnament (not as a sidegrade)

Pz.Kpfw. III Ausf. J1
A sidegrade of Pz. III J, which utilizes a 50mm KwK 39 cannon, which is basically a way longer KwK 38, with overall better penetration and ballistics

Pz.Kpfw. III Ausf. L
This modification has various armour improvements, with an addidion of the modificated cannon mask and front armor plate, with other performance improvements

Pz.Kpfw. III Ausf. N
A modification of Pz. III L, with a 75mm KwK 37 cannon, and without extended armour in the mantlet (the cannon was placed with a cost of the mask)
Pz. IV Series
Now, to the IVs, cause we cannot make a german tanks pack without those

Pz.Kpfw. IV Ausf. C
One of the earliest modifications of the Pz. IV, with 30mm max armour on front and 75mm KwK 37 cannon as it's main arnament

Pz.Kpfw. IV Ausf. D
The further modification of C, featuring different upper hull (with driver's placement being better shown with the tank formfactor), new type of cupolas and new cannon mantlet, which improves the turret armour

Pz.Kpfw. IV Ausf. E
A further modification of D, featuring the extended turret back and new driver's viewports, and also a late production version upper front hull armour plates for MG and Driver

Pz.Kpfw. IV Ausf. F
Modification with overall armour and performance improvements, with a sub-modification equipped with KwK L/43 cannon

Pz.Kpfw. IV Ausf. G
A deep improvement of F modification, with a new KwK L/48 cannon and improved armour

Pz.Kpfw. IV Ausf. H

The ifrst modification with a mass use of Schurzen armour plates, made specifically as a counter for Soviet AT rifles, overall is quite same as G
StuG series
Based on Pz. III (and Pz. IV) series, these Assault guns (later - tank destroyers) were the most mass-produced tanks of the WWII germany

StuG III Ausf. A
The earliest mass-produced modification, with a short 75mm cannon and a frontal armour thickness up to 50mm in the upper hull

StuG III Ausf. F
Later modification, which utilizes long 75mm cannon, and has extended frontal armour with crew perfomance improvements
Panther Series
Now we're getting to the bigger machines, starting with Pz.Vs, aka "Panthers"

Pz.Kpfw. V Ausf. D
The early modification of Panther with a cylindrical cupola

Pz.Kpfw. V Ausf. A
A modification of Panther with a hull machine gun port and new cupola, providing nice commander's visiiblity and better armour
Tiger series
Now, the legends, the kings of the battlefields in the right hands - Tigers

Pz.Kpfw. VI Ausf. H1
The early modification of Tiger, wth a cylindrical cupola, early type mantlet etc.

Pz.Kpfw. VI Ausf. E
Late modification, with a new cupola and new mantlet, providing better armor
Installation
There's an instruction how to get yourself those blueprints (If someone doesn't know how):
1. Download the archive
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1WokS3988oKfatWKh_FgSlGS0jcdHxz0J/view?usp=drive_link
2. Go to your .../documents/My games/Sprocket
3. Extract the faction folder in the "factions" folder
4. If the faction didn't appear in game, restart Sprocket

These tanks use decals from Space Hobo's "Sprocket Realistic Battles" tanks pack, so if you don't have them - you can download his pack (and it's a wise choice, because my tanks suck)
-
UPD: Due to ppl having problems with decals not appearing, i just copied all the deca;s i had that were used on these tanks, hope this will fix it https://drive.google.com/file/d/1j2bBfAcLf6GH7-TehLDxJzu9eQhLJFm8/view?usp=sharing )

THESE TANKS ARE MADE FOR 0.2 "GEOMETRIC INTERNALS" ALPHA, THE BLUEPRINTS WON'T LOAD ON PREVIOUS VERSIONS

If you got any problems with the pack, write down the comments about them so i aknowledge them and try to help you

That's all for now, have a nice day :>'

P.S.: If you wanna help with creating more vehicles, or, perhaps, add more nations to the count (so it will be not only german tanks pack), dm me on steam or on discord (santhescuffed)
Bonus: Japanese Interwar tanks
As a small bonus, here are some Japanese Interwar tanks i made for past time, this ain't much, bit it's a honest work

Type 89 I-Go Ko

Type 95 Ha-Go

Type 97 Chi-Ha

I really like your tanks. I am looking forward to the Soviet and American tanks. It would be cool if they came soon.

Honestly I haven't planned much on soviet tanks or the USA/UK tanks, but what I HAVE in plans is a pack of WWI tanks/combat vehicles
But I gotta remake the tanks in the first place to be able to post them without much shame :P

Are you planning to make a pack of Soviet or American-British tanks?

For those using WSL, Git Bash or other linux-compatiable shell, here is a script to fix it (substitute your username) https://pastebin.com/ENV6uFgY

Well, the problem with decals is that Sprocket uses full absolute path for decal files - you can find smth like "imageURL": "file:///C:/Users/User/Documents/My%20Games/Sprocket/Decals/ in the blueprints. So if your windows user is named differently, the decal's won't load.
