Hut : Remake

This is a remake of the map Hut, originally created by Y5. The remake introduces new features, allowing you to enjoy the atmosphere and space of a wintery seaside for photography and exploration.



This map includes new assets such as 3D models and custom textures, including the abandoned child mannequin featured in the map Terror of Third Park.


Damage zones have been implemented to simulate environmental hazards: entering the icy waters will harm you, and walking on gas pipelines will result in burns. These elements aim to recreate the dangers of an abandoned setting.


Soundscapes inspired by Half-Life 2 have been added throughout the map, enhancing the immersive experience.


The map leverages new Hammer Editor features, such as texture shadows and ambient occlusion, to improve visual quality.


Nobody knows when the cabin was built, but someone has been visiting this desolate island, long devoid of human presence. What are they doing here in the dead of winter? Armed with a flashlight, I decided to explore the island alone.


Lever for the Underground Entrance: The door lever will not work if you are standing too close. Keep a reasonable distance and press the E key to pull the lever.

Gate Mechanism: The gate on the opposite side can be opened by turning a valve with the E key. Hold the key and rotate the valve directly in front of it; improper positioning may prevent the gate from opening correctly.
