Achievement Aid
By prpl_mage
It's the mandatory Achievement Hunter guide for those who want to get those achievements.

Is it a good guide? Nope.

Is it helpful? It sure could be!

I hope you enjoy!

Killing things

Defeat Bosses
Play the game and defeat the stage bosses in the different stages below. Each gives their own achievement.

Forest
Flesh Golem
Warden Grainloch
Sporelord Rotwood
Bloodsap

Depths
Chancellor Autlaic
Bilee
Velya

Castle
Midnight Gatekeeper
Soulus
Ebon King

End of time
Wulfgar and Osmer
Dancing Dragon
Keeper of Souls

Defeat Enemies
Defeat the listed enemies below, each has their own achievement. Flies and zombies are found in Linden Forest. Skeletons in the depths.

1000 skeletons
1000 flies
500 zombies

Kill mimics: 5, 50
Mimics are the chests that grow leg and hunt you down, they are common on most maps but even more common on stages when you kindle the bonfire. Maybe the stump mimics in Linden forest counts?

Fly Swatter
In Linden Forest. Every once in a while a swarm of fly-type enemies will travel swiftly across the screen instead of using their normal "slowly approach" behaviour. Use a good AoE and defeat all of them for this achievement.

Defeat Nibbler
Nibbler is the huge rat in the Usvit Depths. By defeating enough rats Nibbler will spawn. I usually get around 3 spawns during a Depths run. Here's the thing though, once it shows up it will chase you. But once it attacks you the first time it will run away and pick up speed the longer it goes. I've only managed to defeat it by using a bit of an exploit mentioned in a thread here on Steam. You kite it. You don't let Nibbler close enough to attack you. If it doesn't attack - it won't run away.

Nibbler's Cheese
Like the one above about Nibbler, but instead let it reach you and take a bite. It'll drop the cheese and then flee. Then simply walk on that cheese.

Achievements Defeat Invaders
The invaders are the pure red humanoid enemies. A nod towards the Soulsborne series. I'm not entirely sure what triggers the spawns of these invaders. They do have a message that pops up when they spawn though. But I think it's releated to souls collected or something else. When I'm doing badly (such as trying a new class for the first time), they don't seem to spawn. But when I'm doing my best to complete a stage they always show up. So it could be related to souls and gold collected? Damage taken? If you purchase a Perk from the blue perk wizard at the start?

Forest: Lord Cerveris (does not have an achievement)
Castle: Lady Nox
End of Time: Dancing Dragon

Defeat the Ebon King without evading
Another tricky one. The Ebon King of Usvit Castle can dish out a lot of damage. So either get a lot of survivability through heals and defense such as the Blood Maiden or the Bogatyr. The other option is to get a lot of mobility through movement speed etc. so you don't need to use the dodge roll and simply walk away from the boss. And don't use the Shadow Monk.
Character Things

Max all talents for X
Kinda obvious, play a character enough to put points into all talents. You will need a total of 4250 exp to fully upgrade a character's talents. You should get around 600-800 exp for each round you play. There is an achievement for each class.

Hit 1000 enemies with the flail
As the Necromancer. Doesn't seem to be in a single run, but place points into things that improve the flail, grab the power up that increases size of it and get the cooldown reduction on level up.

Pick up 100 flesh piles
As the Necromancer. This needs to be done in a single run, but shouldn't be a problem since you want to walk on them to restore health after all. The flesh piles are the meaty bone things that occasionally drop from defeated enemies when playing this class.

Kill 1000 enemies with fire
Not sure what counts as fire as I got this while playing the Necromancer. But the most obvious candidate is the Pyrmancer who has plenty of fire to go around.
Collections

Collect souls: 1000. 10,000. 100,000. 1,000,000
Play the game, honestly this is the way. The Keeper of Souls boss in the End of Time stage drops a lot of souls(100000) of course and would be your go-to if you want to get this quickly. And there is a cool event in the Castle with a tombstone that drops a lot of souls when hit, maybe that could be an effective strategy?
The Pyromancer has a talent that gives an enemy a chance to drop a black soul which gives 3x the amount of exp of a normal blue soul but unsure if it still counts as one soul.
PS: There is a soul counter for this in the top left of the title screen.

Collect 500 gold in a single run
You need to hold 500 gold, not just in total. So just put off buying items until you get this. This is kinda easy if you kindle the bonfire since that increases gold drop. There is also a passive ability on level up which increases gold drop, and a power up that makes enemies killed generate gold. And as always, don't stick around the same place, new crates and chests etc spawn some distance away from your current camera. Also, if you finish a run you start the next with gold based on how well you did. But by then you've probably already unlocked this one.

Discover 15 tomes of knowledge
Not really a collection but you know, I didn't really know where to put this one.
What are tomes of knowledge? Check out this other guide I made:

Stages and Runs

Use 3 sacrifice altars
The sacrifical altars usually don't show up as a notification on the map, but you can find them near the other events. Interact with it and sacrifice half of your hp to gain a random active ability upgrade. You don't need to use all 3 in the same run.

Use 3 cursed altars
The cursed altars show up as notifications and message. They look like a statue of a hooded figure. Interact with it to get a temporary curse and a artifact as a reward if you survive long enough. You don't need to use all 3 in the same run.

Destroy the Obelisks
In the End of Time stage these red crystals will appear in each corner of the stage (and 2 more if kindled). While active they reduce the damage enemies take. Once you've destroyed all 4 (or 6), the event is over and you'll get your achievement.

Survive curses: 5, 10
After defeating the end boss of a stage you can start a cursed run before ending the run. Survive long enough to have 10 different curses active at the same time. You get a new curse every minute while doing this.
I'd suggest getting a lot of movement speed and defense for this. Eventually you'll get a combination of different curses that will force you to take damage one way or the other. The overload evasion is especially tricky since that will be your way to avoid damage and mobility if you don't have enough speed on your own.

Kindle the Flame and Defeat the End Boss of X
When you play a stage after beating it once you will see a new NPC at the spawning area (It's the same NPC who shows up after defeating the final boss to initiate curses). But here at the start of the stage you can instead "Kindle" the flame which will activate a Hard Mode for the current run. Enemies move faster, there is greater enemy density, new elite enemies show up etc. There is an achievement for each stage.

All classes are viable for this, but the effectiveness of things now scale differently compared to a normal run. Especially the Necromancer sees issues unless you roll the right abilities.
In general, you should think more about rerolls and banishment to ensure that you get the abilities you want. And remember that once you put a point into an ability it is more likely to show up again. Also, you may want to play a normal stage before to collect gold and exp to be able to clear the shop in your kindled run and pay for a perk.

Break 10 Gargoyle Statues
In Usvit Castle. These are these large statues that take around 4 hits to destroy that can be found in the middle layer mostly up towards the wall with the staircases. Destroy 10 of them to unlock the achievement. Not sure if it needs to be in the same run.

Take no damage for: 5, 10 min
These two are tricky, not only do you need to stay alert, you probably will need to defeat the first boss of the stage as well.
The Forest has that annoying snail that chases you down and drop gold, and the teleporting skeleton mages.
The castle has a lot of elites with ranged attacks and also Lady Nox.
The end of time has a little mix of everything, and it is especially hard to avoid enemies becuase of the limited size.
I'd suggest the depths. The elites that spawn there aren't too annoying and you can usually navigate around the shieldwalls and mouse rushes unlike other stages. The first boss happens around the 9 min mark and is a special arena where you only need to stay away from the boss, no projectiles or anything. The only downside is that there are traps in the floor unless you're cautious.

I'd also suggest playing the Ranger or Pyromancer since they are the best at clearing groups of enemies. You don't need the survivability of the Bogatyr or the Blood Maiden since you're supposed to not take damage. Invest knowledge points into getting a random artifact at the start of the run, restart until you get something useful, spend some XP at the perk merchant to get any damage related bonus and stay on the move. If you play the ranger then keep moving upwards in the corridors. If you play the pyro then adapt according to the skills you get. But keep moving, don't stick around to kill the elites, don't chase events, don't go through a thick of enemies to get to the merchant etc.

A fun Feature is that atks that push enemies away can push them off edges in the depths and the final map
I asked the developer if he could include that and it helps in hm slot with defeating early game elites
If u get them close enough to an edge that is

@prpl_mage
The pyro is the easiest by far for the no dmg achievement
Just upgrade the base atk
Cinderstrike
Ignition echo and put one point in spontaneous combustion
I hope that helps if someone doesnt get along with the Ranger

To defeat nibbler use the shadowmonk with the vortex abillity
It traps nibbler and by standing close by where u can atk him and meditate u shorten the cooldown of the vortex enough to activate it again before it ends
I got the dev on discord and maybe i can get him to check out ur guide and to give u extra Information with what u can expand it a bit if u wish thst i do that bc i dont want to force something
It is ur work afterall

Thanks for the helpful information. I'm not much of an achievement hunter or anything. But this game seems doable to get 100% completion.
