Progress Achievements / Intro
First of all big thanks to the wonderful people doing work in the "compiling secret Achievements" discussion category, without y'all and especially JLS and RivenNova on that thread, this would have been very difficult to compile fully.

Now as you can imagine much like the first game a number of achievements are earned just by progressing through the game and beating the different philosophers, in fact 9 can be earned this way, whilst this guide isn't a walk-through and frankly the enjoyment of the game is lost by one, I may one day amend this to give a guide on all the progress achievements aswell.
Dialogue Achievements
this represents the two achievements you can earn in the game by a simple A/B choice, such as the initial question of "have you got a grasp of things", most people will naturally just get them through progress through the game but it's possible to miss it so I will briefly go over them here.

All Good Things Start with P
When discussing with Markus in the opening of Chapter 2 about qualifications, ask how Jenn got involved!

-Machiavelli Opening
-"How'd Jenn..."
Hidden Dialogue Achievements
The Meat of the games achievements representing a large plurality, these work by having you act through the games mechanic to open up dialogue which doesn't necessarily continue the broader argument. Sometimes you'll see a choice to continue the point if one of these are present but usually it's easier to get them on the first go around.

No, YOU Stink!
If at any time you challenge someone using "You Stink" you will get this achievement and lose credibility.

-Any Argument
-Challenge with "You Stink"

Party Hardy
If you lose the first argument (via the above) you will gain this achievement! "Jennifer" is really convincing.

So Talented
In the prologue ask for Clarification on the benefits of dancing... I can't really deny the achievements claim.

-Prologue Argument 3
-Clarify on "Dancing is..."

Metaphor-tunate
In Confucius's second argument his Pole Star metaphor is wholly unconnected to his argument, once questioned on this you have the dialogue choice to claim you are tired of the metaphors, earning the achievement.

-Confucius Argument 2
-Connection at "pole-Star..."
-"so very tired"

So That's Where They Are
Some would ask why such noteworthy names as Hobbes and Mill don't reappear in this game. But it's all good, the good folks at Intelligible Games have you covered! Just consult with your team after being presented with Machiavelli's final argument.

-Machiavelli Argument 3
-Consult at "Peasants would not dare..."

Boast Busters
Locke falls into a familiar fallacy, We love him but... yeah he's overselling himself.

-Locke Argument 3
-Connection against "Every Problem..."

Nerf the Rich
"I'll be Rich, NERF RICH". All this requires is clarification and then confirmation on Marx's comments establishing his argument.

-Marx Argument 1
-Clarify "when private entities..."
-"Clarify for him"

Bought the Farm
This is found in the second Argument of Marx. Asking what happens to the old "class enemies" through focusing on the Oligarchy of the Rich will earn the achievement!

-Marx Argument 2
-Challenge "most in tune with..." with "Oligarchy of the Rich"

Throwing Fruit
I'll be honest this one took me the longest of all of them, the fact it isn't placed above any progression achievements made it harder in the first instance let alone the fact it focuses on something that is retreading the ground of the previous game. I had many sleepless nights thinking on this... then someone told me it was Fanons fault. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

-Fanon Argument 4
-Clarify at "decentralised..."
-Connection at "no army..."
-"bring up killer...."

Forbidden Love?!
Sadly not confirming the Jenn/Ari Ship (Yeah what is it with these sailing metaphors), asking about avoiding apathy in reference to Internet Oracles in Plato's 4th Argument gives a potential confession about Ari's Love life. Dad, understandably, is concerned to be out the loop.

-Marcus Argument 4.
-Clarify "We'll put Limitations"
-Challenge "Anonymous Oracles" with "Avoiding Apathy"
*shudders* Wizards.
This is an extension... Partially, of the Hidden Dialogue achievements and focuses on the Arbiter complaining about wizards. Valid. It's a simple multiple check thing and because of that some will miss things inevitably so, whilst I have not the patience to fully list them (though I will add them with time) here's all the ones I could compile;

1- In the intermission between the first and second argument of Confucius Ari will mention that he is like a wizard.
